Got the burger and it was huge but it was the best burger I have ever had. Good home cooking and the staff was great.

Good local place for breakfast. A little pricey for the area but plenty of food and good service. Still family owned. We'll be back.

Saturday evening drive. My wife and I are so tired of fast food and we were about to go into a steak and seafood chain, when I saw this restaurant across the street with a full parking lot. They had vegetable plates with bone-in fried chicken with homemade blackberry cobbler.I recommend this mom and pop establishment.

They may be friendly but they can't poach an egg or make corn beef without burning it. The grits are creamy. The gravy and biscuits r tasty so is the coffee

A fantastic place for breakfast, lunch and supper. Family style diner with the original family still running it. Everything we have ordered is great. You can't go wrong with this place.

We always enjoy our meals here but this time we were being asked by a non-employee to donate by purchasing doughnuts during our meal. Not good. Please discontinue this practice and allow us to enjoy our meals. Thx

They all seemed to like it still but my lunch was very disappointing. I ordered a fish sandwich, which I guess was my main mistake. Everything else looked pretty good but my fish had a very bland... One of the oldest restaurants in Maggie Valley and it still has great country food. Family owned. Don't let the outside appearance of the building sway you from eating here. It is an older building but it is well maintained and clean. Just the historic photos and articles on the walls alone make it worth a visit. The food is... More

I again was going by reviews for this restaurant and was disappointed with the food. Maybe I'm just too used to my own home cooking, but this was just not impressive.
