On arival was promptly seated with few customers ahead of me. Ordered the Fried Flounder, with coleslaw, crinkled french fries & two dinner bums. Total meal was filling & tasty, had enough for a second meal. Afterr the waitress took my section, two women were seated, with their order taken & served before my flounder was served. Possibly their section... More

Looked at breakfast menu. Prizes higher than at the OBX during main season. Did not stay to rate the food. Place appeared to be clean but in need of some outside maintenance

We ate at Maggie Valley Restaurant in July. I ordered fried trout and my daughter ordered the fried chicken. The trout was great but the fried chicken was possibly the best I've ever had (and being from Kansas where chicken and steak rule, I've had plenty of fried chicken in my life). It was very light and crispy, not at... More

We stopped by Maggie Valley Restaurant while heading back home from camping at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We had a little wait but that is always a good sign but the wait was fine with the covered porch and a beautiful view of the mist-covered mountains. Mrs. Carver came out to find us when the table was ready, and... More

I was with my husband and my niece. We were next door to the 'Wheels through Time' museum, also fantastic. Very authentic Appalachian Southern food. My husband and niece had breakfast. Generous portions and delicious. I had grilled NC trout, which is local and fresh, with some of the best mashed potatoes and green beans I can remember. Very reasonable.... More

Small diner, popular with tourists and locals. We ate breakfast late Saturday morning. There were at least 20 people out on the porch. We left but returned because we did not find another option. The wait was not really that long but we were hungry. Pancakes and hot syrup were great. Veggie omelet was spectacular. Prices are a little high... More

Ate breakfast there both days. Not a long wait and quick service. Very friendly staff in spite of full house. Locals eat there so you know it is good.

Had lunch here a few times and the food was decent but the prices are somewhat high. A burger and fries with a drink will run you almost $15 with a tip.
