I was with my husband and my niece. We were next door to the 'Wheels through Time' museum, also fantastic. Very authentic Appalachian Southern food. My husband and niece had breakfast. Generous portions and delicious. I had grilled NC trout, which is local and fresh, with some of the best mashed potatoes and green beans I can remember. Very reasonable.... More

During our five day visit to Maggie Valley we ate here five times; four times for breakfast and once for dinner. The service was really fast after getting seated, the food was a great value and delicious (um those pancakes). The value will be hard to beat in any vacation area anywhere in NC. During peak times the wait to... More

Small diner, popular with tourists and locals. We ate breakfast late Saturday morning. There were at least 20 people out on the porch. We left but returned because we did not find another option. The wait was not really that long but we were hungry. Pancakes and hot syrup were great. Veggie omelet was spectacular. Prices are a little high... More

Ate breakfast there both days. Not a long wait and quick service. Very friendly staff in spite of full house. Locals eat there so you know it is good.

Had lunch here a few times and the food was decent but the prices are somewhat high. A burger and fries with a drink will run you almost $15 with a tip.

The Maggie Valley Restaurant was so good...we had it twice in the 3 days we were in Maggie Valley! The hostess/owner greats you with great southern charm and makes you feel at home. She even remembered us the second time we visited. There is a front porch to sit on while waiting for a table. The service was great. This... More

We eat here each year at least one morning. It can be a little slow but the food and service is great. I would recommend eating here at least once during your stay in Maggie Valley

Between the two of us, DH and I enjoyed eggs, bacon, corned beef hash, potatoes, sausage gravy and biscuits. It was one of the best prepared breakfasts I've had anywhere. Few restaurants know how to cook a good scrambled egg - most of them come out dry and mostly tasteless. My eggs here were moist, soft and perfectly seasoned. I... More
