Food was disgusting, servers took forever, ew. Thought I'd give them a second chance, came back and server never waited on us, so we left. Poor service

Service was terrible. Food was good. You would think that they would've had more help for a bike rally, go figure. I don't think that I will return there again. I was not pleased what so ever. But, it was a descent place to go if it wasn't so crowded and slow service.

Total biker bar. But even if I were a biker wouldn't give high marks. Service was not good at all. Order was easy but couldn't get it right. Ate Roast Beef special made us sick. Hamburger had a funny taste. Suggest drinking to kill the germs and you might be okay

We just arrived in Maggie Valley and I have been reading reviews for the restaurants, trying to decide where to eat. We also asked a local, who recomended Salty Dog. It has gotten a lot of 1-star and 5-star reviews so we figured we had a 50/50 chance. It wasn't busy so we sat at a table in the bar... More

I visited this place when I was a child. Recently my family and a few friends decided to visit Maggie Valley for Labor Day weekend. We arrived late and had a very limited variety on places to get dinner. We ended up at the salty dog. I was completely distrusting of this place, due to the look the biker customers... More

Showed up after a long drive into town and a disappointing hotel choice on 8/22/14. Thought Salty Dog's was going to be the turn around of our trip, but we were wrong. We waited to be seated as waitress after waitress saw us at the door and no one came. We decided to seat our selves so someone could hopefully... More

Our waitress was just great! I think her name was Jolene. She was friendly and had a great smile and attitude. The food was as expected, good and fairly priced. We had the fried oysters. Lots of them. We looked forward to coming here just for the oysters and we are from Florida. Go figure. Come and enjoy the food and... More

While on vacation in the Smoky Mountains, we happened on the Salty Dog. It had eclectic atmosphere and delicious food. Don't miss the mac and cheese as a side, too. My granddaughters loved getting their food in a double dog bowl.

Hour wait for a burger and fries. A leaky ceiling has led them to post drawings and menu's above your head that are now brown and falling down. I don't recommend it at all, or any other eating establishment in Maggie Valley. The best food we had was pizza hut and a hotel waffle.
