Dinner was great. A little expensive but great atmosphere and food was very good. Steak was very tender and cooked to perfection.

Early bird specials were delicious and included dessert. The servers were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was rustic.

have eaten here on each of our four trips to Maggie Valley. I always get the crab cakes and are always consistently good. Wine a little pricey, but clean and nice. Attentive staff

It looks like a nice place, but I can't review the food since we never got any. Hostess was very friendly but the waitress was severely lacking in the personality department. Ordered a burger and the fresh trout. After 45 minutes still no food although she kept telling us it would be out any minute and blaming the new kitchen... More

Ate here due to large part due to Trip. rating. Usually good choice, but not this time. Friendly atmosphere, server very talkative. Some of the customers somewhat less than stellar along with their language. Most patrons were bikers which may explain what went on, definitely not suitable family atmosphere. Soup of the day was good but I didn't get what... More

Newest location in the Maggie area. The grill has hours of Wed- Sun. Always thought a hotel should have food service daily. The menu is unique and has some great items. Had the potato skins. Great! load and tasty 9.95 Then the main course, Smoked pork tenderloin, sliced with a glazed sauce, loaded bake potato. 17.95 They served a pork... More

It must have been a horrible day to come to Maggie Valley because we've been here 24 hours and haven't had a positive experience yet. Hotel was crap, first restaurant wouldn't serve us, and then we ate at Moonshine Grill only to be served some of the worst food I've ever eaten in my life. To be clear, I eat... More

Wow, I am not sure how to respond to your review (attack) of the Moonshine Grille. You obviously have deep issues with my restaurant. This is your second posting about getting sick (puking) incident. The first one was removed because of profane language. Your use of adjectives leaves me wondering what is going on. Ruben sandwich out of a can?... More

This restaurant used to have a buffet, but they deleted that and now have a menu. My family and I have had dinner here many times when it was a Buffet this time was different. To begin with there was a whole section of the Restaurant that was full of Drunks from the motorcycle gang staying there. They were very... More

My family and I visited the Moonshine Grill on August 14th (Thursday night). Food and service were excellent. We returned on August 16th (Saturday night) and it was completely different. Had to wait for a table even though there were several empty tables in the restaurant. Once we were seated we noticed several empty tables that had not been cleaned... More
