Awesome service and awesome food!

We visit the Moonshine Grill each time we go to Maggie Valley (4 times last year). Were there last weekend for the bike rally and dined at the Moonshine every night! Great food (excellent chef), awesome server (friendly and every thing else you could ask for in a server). Can hardly wait to go... read more

This is situated across Soco Road from a very good restaurant. Go there! Quickly! The atmosphere at Moonshine is pleasant. My wife decided to order fish and chips, which sounded good to me, so I went along without further menu reading. When I think of fish and chips I envision cod and French fries (chips in England). When the unappetizing... More

My only complaint is they were closed two of the days we were in Maggie Valley. We found this place the first night we were in town and the food was so good. It was so good we tried to go back the next night but they were closed and then we tried the next night and they were closed... More

We ate at the Moonshine Grill on our annual Maggie Valley vacation this year. We ate here last year and couldn't wait to return this year. We had a delightful server who was prompt with his service and knowledgable of the menu and history of moonshine. We ate the meat loaf, sirloin steak, moonshine chicken, creme brûlée, key lime pie... I read all the reviews on here and was really looking forward to visiting. The wait was pretty long - close to an hour - but, it was really busy. Still a long wait though. Our server checked in on us regularly to apologize for the wait. The food was okay, but it was a bit on the expensive side.... More

This was by far the best steak my husband and I have had in a restaurant in a LONG time. We often find that they over marinate it and it is too salty to eat. They go with the minimalist option at the Moonshine Grille and cover it with a peppercorn sauce that was just amazing. There was no need... More

We made our third visit to Moonshine Grill last night. My wife had French Onion Soup and potato skins. Both items were delicious. The soup is the cheesiest French onion soup with a great broth and onions anywhere. The potato skin order included 6 plump very tasty skins. I had the smoked chicken wings with a side of fries. The... More

We went to dinner while waiting for our tube ride appointment - the menu was varied enough to please kids and adults alike. We'll be back - nice place! Great service!

First time at the Moonshine Grill. Usually, I would avoid motel restaurants; but, we decided to give this a try based on TripAdvisor reviews. The Early Bird Specials were excellent. We had the Salmon and meatloaf. Comes with soup or salad, a side, a drink and dessert. Try the moonshine drinks for something different. They were short staffed and Amanda... More
