Great Food-Great Bar

The food here is always excellent. Always. Maryann, the bartender, makes the best Appletini and any other kind. I had the white clam sauce, which was the best ever, and my husband had the mixed seafood. The fish in this dish is incredibly fresh and delicious. I don't think I have ever had a... read more

Food was very good and great service! First calzone was wrong so we had to wait awhile (again) to get one without pepperoni. Would visit again!

Some of the best Italian food outside of Italy. Quality was excellent and the breads were outstanding.

We get to Frankie's about six times a year, being part time residents of Waynesville. Last night, July 17 might possibly be our last. Service was awesome as it always is. Very attentive but not so much for the food and the overall experience which was just not enjoyable. We know Frankie's is loud, but is was unusually loud to... More

We shared a great pizza here. Service was excellent. As the food of other patrons went by, it looked and smelled delicious as well. The only negative is that it is incredibly loud. On one hand, that is good - people were obviously enjoying themselves. On the other hand - you pretty much had to shout in order to be... More

I was rather disappointed with the food. The tomato sauce on the pasta reminded me of cream of tomato soup. The veal parm was ok. At least it was scallops of veal and not the frozen prepackaged stuff. Most people seemed to be enjoying pizza.

the food was very dull and bland, cute place just way to loud to enjoy the meal or anyone you are with, and a pinch of salt and pepper goes along way, food for thought

My apple martini was a watered down pale shadow of what it should have been. The cherry was the highlight. Veal Parmesan was not pounded veal but "cutlet". To be fair this was stated on the menu but no self respecting Italian restaurant should serve cutlets. The tomato sauce over the veal was bland. The marinara over the spaghetti side... More

My wife and I stopped in at Frankie's on the way to The Cherokee Museum and to Smokey Mountain National Park. What an amazing Stromboli and true Italian cuisine. Prices and food was excellent !
