The food was average, but the waitress was horrible. She was rude and acted like we were doing her a favor for being there. She was also berating a trainee in front of the customers. It would probably be a cute little place if they hired nicer waitress

We both had the Redneck Benedict. My poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The portion was huge, hot, and tasty!

There was a little problem at my breakfast visit because it seems an employee did not show for work, so the owner/cook had to wait tabels as well as prepare the food until another person arrived to help him. So service was a little slow, but I can't blame the diner for a slack employee. My western omelette was one... More

This is a great breakfast place. Service is very efficient and food is always consistent. Breakfast specials and the breakfast bowl is very good

Pretty good food and decent prices. The atmosphere is not great and it's fairly small inside. If you want good food at a decent price this is the place.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast last week. Greeted by friendly folks who delivered on a delicious breakfast! The pancakes were great. But the sausage was outstanding! I almost ordered another side - but my waistband was already getting a little tight! Haha! Great little diner!

If it had not been for Trip Advisor, we would never have stopped at this little gem. The breakfast we enjoyed on the last Sunday morning in June was wonderful. The eggs were tasty, the sausage was outstanding, not greasy but meaty with a touch of spice. The most outstanding of all were the amazing Pancakes. They are among the... More

We ate several meals and the diner and each time enjoyed the food very much. Steve and his staff are very pleasant. The phrase, "its where the locals eat" applies to the Holiday Diner.

A group of friends went to Maggie Valley. We stayed at the Holiday Motel. Right next to it is the Holiday Diner. We had a catered dinner there, and it was excellent. Steve did a wonderful job preparing the food and was very hospitable. Topped off our trip!

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Maggie Valley...and relied on TripAdvisor to help find the best places to eat. Based on the appearance of the Holiday Diner, we would have NEVER ventured in. But thanks to this site, we followed the recommendations and we were not disappointed! Breakfast or lunch at breakfast or lunch suited us great!... More
