Great Local Restaurant, So Much Better Than Cracker Barrel.

We were heading for Arlington National Cemetery to bury one of our Vietnam Vet brothers when we stopped here for lunch. We saw a Cracker Barrel at the exit and although they have gone way down hill in the past few years, we at least knew what to expect. As we got off we saw this place and gave... read more

Our desk clerk recommended the restaurant when we inquired upon check in. Truly a good recommendation! The salad bar was quite nice with lots of options(I personally love the little ears of corn...not found on a lot of salad bars). The service was warm and friendly, and the featured Stuffed Flounder was excellent.

Went here to meet with some friends for dinner. The buffet consisted of fried things. That was pretty much it. Every item had the same, brownish, dull look of being cooked in the same oil. Veggies that are normally a green color in a garden were a funeral-home grey. I believe even the soup and salad was fried. Not my... More

Even though I try to stay away from buffets, this one lured me in ~ the waiting line was long which is usually a good sign ~ I chose to sit at the bar and was seated right away. A really good salad bar ( the canned mushrooms tasted really good on my salad, a first for me, loved the... More

While south from PA to FL our stop over in Lumberton brought us to this spot at the recommendation of our hotel staff. It was pouring rain so we didn't want to travel too far from the hotel. My sister and I were immediately taken to a booth near the salad and potato toppings bars. We order a bottle of... More

Stoped with a family of 6 on the way to FL off 95. Had pizza, not on the menu, and the salad bar. Both were exceptional value. Staff is super friendly, a good taste of southern hospitality.

Staff seemed disorganized. Didn't start off well when I was told there was no regular coffee but they had decaf. Meal was ok but nothing special. Ordered medium well but closer to well done (& I am being kind). Took forever to pay the bill.

Order off the menu or eat from the buffet when available. Buffet offers Southern Style comfort food. Daily specials. Beef tips for 2 is a favorite. Large rooms for private parties.
