We eat here frequently. This is the only place my husband will eat Mexican food .... he likes the Mexicana Steak. Fast service, good food, great prices.
We were travelling South and stopped overnight in Lumberton. Wanted a restaurant close to our hotel and chose San Jose Mexican. What a wonderful meal we had. I had the shrimp taco salad and was loaded with shrimp. It was absolutely the best I have ever had. Hubby had a steak fajita. Certainly recommend this restaurant if you want great... More

Stopped in on our way home from Florida. The service was fast and we never had to ask for anything. The food was great. I had a shrimp quesadilla and the wife had a chicken quesadilla. We love Mexican food and this place is one of the best we have tried.

The only complaint is sometimes the salsa needs a little more flavor. Other than that every dish we have eaten there has been truly wonderful.
We found it by accident and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything from the guacamole made at table side to the soup and lobster tacos were exceptional. The soup was the best I've ever had. The service was polite and engaging. I think they had a restaurant in Rochester and if they do will definitely be stopping by on future trips to... More
When we got there I did not know what to expect, I love chimichunga's and I was wondering would they fix them the way that I love them, and they were delicious, they give you so much food that you are not able to finish all of it.

It could have been a dinner for 2. Since we were traveling, we could not take food home. So, alot of food went to waste. The beers are... More
