My boyfriend and I have been to the Old Hampton store several times. Their marvelous BBQ sandwiches are one of the few things we die for in the whole world! They have their own BBQ smoke house and all BBQs are fresh made, so juicy and tender. After you finish their BBQ, I'd recommend to walk around in the store.... More

We were not looking for this store but saw a sign and decided to check it out. What we found was a nice surprise. We decided to have lunch and the pork bbq was very good. What enjoyed the most was the live entertainment. They had someone performing in the store and another back behind the store. What a great... More

Very tasty food. Good atmosphere. I got the chicken plate with mac and cheese and baked beans and my husband got pulled pork sliders with mac and cheese. We also shared the fried pickles and corn nuggets. Everything was very good. My chicken was really good: moist and flavorful and came with a delicious bun. The mac and cheese was... More

Barbecue Fries, hush puppies , Mac n cheese . All good . Live music is very nice . Price is a little steep and like an earlier review , I did not like the checkout on the tip process on an iPad. Read carefully and don't get in a hurry .

Not a great site for ambiance, other than the old country store environment, but good BBQ on freshly baked in house rolls.

Stopped to grab a lunch to go for road to airport and was delighted to find much more than good lunch. First, the general store part is adorable. Lots of cute things to buy. But the piece de resistance was they had live music playing. Two super cool musicians entertaining the many diners inside and out (music carried through the... More

Watch out if you use a credit card, choices. For credit before you sign is 15,20 percent or no tip, this is an order and pickup place, so 15,20 percent is very high for service rendered

This was our second visit to Linville NC and also our second stop at Old Hampton Store. It is a quaint little place. Reminds me of a little store from Mayberry (you know, Andy Griffith?). The store is fun to shop in and the restaurant offers a variety of meat and three type of dishes. My husband and I got... More

What a fun location for food and old-timey gifts. Late lunch sandwich was delicious. Fresh fruit jam and locally ground corn meal purchased in the general store made great souvenirs.
