If you want a seriously serious banana split, this is the place to go! Not just that, but great ice cream sundaes. I stopped there for breakfast a couple of times and what a great price for everything, much lower than the surrounding area but much better. This restaurant has been in business for many years, and it's not hard... More

If you like BBQ, then this the place for you. The pulled pork sandwich is delicious, the fries crispy and hot. The BBQ slaw is also a must. I have eaten at this wonderful little place several times and have never had bad service or bad food. It is a favorite among the locals. It even has curb side service... More

The BBQ Center is our go-to restaurant for delicious BBQ. You barely order and it's on the table. Hushpuppies and fries are great too. Try their BBQ soup. Absolutely wonderful. Biggest banana split and oh so yummy. Great family eats!!

Brown slice is my favorite thing to get here. Very good Bbq, however this is not a place where you get vegetables and healthy food. They have a rather dismal side salad and slaw. However, they have the best banana splits- 2-3 could easily share one.

I live in Virginia and we know good BBQ. Carolina has a couple of styles and we are always up the trying different styles. You know the food is great when the parking lot is full but you always wonder. We found that to be true about Center BBQ. Wonderful place with friendly and courteous staff. We showed up at... More

This is great western North Carolina Q. Smokey, moist, real low and slow cooked over wood flavor. This place - like Lexington #1- deserves it's place in the small group of the very best Q joints in North Carolina. Great Q, great sides, great service, fair prices. There are a lot of really good Q places in Lexington, but this... More

Yes, this restaurant is on the old side, but clean. The thing about barbeque is to remember most restaurants have their own personal sauce recipes-which enhances the taste of the barbeque. Some serve with or without the sauce on sandwiches and platters. It becomes a matter of personal taste as to whether one likes the sauces used. I think if... More

While camping in Linwood we decided to venture out for dinner. I looked at Trip Advisor for highly rated restaurants in Lexington. This place was near the top, but I'm not sure why. My family ordered two barbecue sandwich, split a side of fries, two drinks, a chicken strip kids meal, and a sundae. The total was $27 ?!?! Had... More

Personally I like a lecture style barbecue a little better than some other styles You can choose from many variants sliced, chop ,sandwich ,platter Reasonable prices Facility could use some updating but that's part of its character Curbside service that you don't see much of anymore
