I went to this restaurant hoping for a good meal in a town dominated by fast food restaurants. They offered an African dish called Yassi, which was described as chicken with a mustard sauce on a bed of rice. It ended up being dark, fatty, overcooked chicken drowning in oil with oil soaked rice, just a greasy, tasteless mess. I... More

The Owner and Front end Manager were disrespectful. Never tell a customer you are to "busy" or "What do you want me to do abot it"? Debit machine is always down. Several times they have been out of food that is on the menu. Sadly I don't believe the Owner/Cook has alot of experience running a business.

This is a restaurant with a vision of bringing sophisticated food to an area lacking in options outside of fast food restaurants. 215 on Main has promise but also has room for improvement. First is the interior, which attempts to portray a rustic charm but is lacking in finish. The repurposed church pews running alongside the wall on either side... More

First, we would like to thank you for your review! We would like to clarify a few things in your review. We hand select ingredients each day. We only use fresh ingredients so we believe our prices are reasonable, if not below the current market. Also, the cheese on the grilled cheese is sharp cheddar, rather than American. This is... in such a small town, we did not expect to find a place that would please our 'foodie' palates. yummy shrimp and grits and a fried green tomato BLT with slaw - everything made right there -yum! I would like to see the same sandwich on regular bread or a thinner bun of some sort - felt like I was... More

This is my favorite place to eat in my hometown. Love their fried green tomato BLT - that is the fish I crave when I come home. Hubby likes the shrimp and grits. They always have great summer veggie specials with local vegetable.

This little restaurant is a must if you are in the Laurinburg. I had the pork loin with mashed sweet potatoes and grilled asparagus and my husband had the chicken with mashed potatoes and grilled squash. Simply delicious. The house salad with sunflower seeds and pineapple served with a warm sunflower seed and honey dressing was also delicious. One waitress,... More

The only dish I have had that is good is the shrimp and grits and I have heard good things about the hamburgers. 9 times out of 10 they are out of something! The temperature of the food is often too cold and the portions are off for the price, ie. salads. If you are in the restaurant business then... More

Stopped along the way while traveling. Cute little place with an inviting feel. Lucky enough to visit while appetizers were half price (all but the shrimp & grits which were well worth the $7.95 menu price) We tried the collard rolls which were fantastic. Our entrees, Penne pasta and the hamburger steak, were both very good. Service was friendly and... More
