We've lived in the are for a year and have eaten at Pie on the Mountain MANY times. The former owner has sold and the new owner is keeping with the great food tradition. We went several weeks ago and had AWESOME pizza and one of the biggest, STUFFED calzones I've ever seen. We went back last week and had... More

Awesome pizza. Never would figure that such a tiny mountain town would have a great pizza place. Very fresh ingredients. The crust was wonderful. We will be back for more. The large size is enormous. Feeds 4 easily.

Used to get into New York and New Jersey a lot, and it was easy to get great pizza there. Even in my home town of Chapel Hill there's only one place that consistently makes great pizza. So, imagine my surprise to find great pizza in tiny Lansing, NC! We find Pie On The Mountain to be well worth the... More

We ordered the pesto pizza, subbing ham for the olives. My 4yo just got the cheese pizza which would normally be a bland pizza but it had so much flavor. Wish we had time to go back.

You need to make the scenic but short road trip to this restuarant. We thought this was the best pizza we have ever had! The owners use local, organic ingredients for the salads and pizzas and you can really tell the difference. Great pizza crust, the perfect balance of thin and chewy. The sauce and toppings were so good! My... More

We have been going to Pie on the Mountain for a few years now. I always enjoyed the atmosphere but until my last visit, the pizza was just so-so. The owners changed this year and now I LOVE the pizza and the atmosphere! The new owners are trying to buy local ingredients for their dishes. The food was very fresh... More

It is a twenty minute drive from West Jefferson, NC, tucked in the valley in the tiny town of Lansing, but well worth the trip!! Pie on the Mountain has a cheery decor and a friendly, attentive staff. Their menu has basic pizzas, mouth-watering gourmet pizzas, calzones and other tempting menu items. My husband and I shared a 16" pizza... More

Just a plain looking place on a little main street. With a stop sign and cars stopping just feet away from our table. Friendly smiles. We enjoyed a good experience with fresh made food. We would return. Nice sandwich...........
