The mountain man pizza is one of the best gourmet pizzas I've ever tasted from great eateries coast to coast. Matt and the crew provide great customer service and more than fair pricing. An amazing find in a charming town. Well worth the trip. - E

I first came to Pie on the Mountain in fall 2012 when visiting the greater Boone area. On a subsequent trip in the fall 2014 I knew I had to come back. This place blows me away with the spinach alone. I got a spinach salad with freshly cooked bacon and it was one of the best salads I've ever... More

I eat at this perfect local pizza place, several times, every time I visit Lansing. The ambience is great and the pizza is perfect. Definitely worth the drive (from anywhere really)!

We had calzones at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed them. The crust was delicious and the ingredients were very fresh. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back! Oh, and they have wi-fi which was sorely missing at the house we were renting during our mountain vacation. A big thumbs up for this quaint dining establishment. Next time... More

We've lived in the are for a year and have eaten at Pie on the Mountain MANY times. The former owner has sold and the new owner is keeping with the great food tradition. We went several weeks ago and had AWESOME pizza and one of the biggest, STUFFED calzones I've ever seen. We went back last week and had... More

Awesome pizza. Never would figure that such a tiny mountain town would have a great pizza place. Very fresh ingredients. The crust was wonderful. We will be back for more. The large size is enormous. Feeds 4 easily.

Used to get into New York and New Jersey a lot, and it was easy to get great pizza there. Even in my home town of Chapel Hill there's only one place that consistently makes great pizza. So, imagine my surprise to find great pizza in tiny Lansing, NC! We find Pie On The Mountain to be well worth the... More

We ordered the pesto pizza, subbing ham for the olives. My 4yo just got the cheese pizza which would normally be a bland pizza but it had so much flavor. Wish we had time to go back.
