Amore was a very pleasant surprise. Curb appeal/branding is, well average, so we were expecting food to be the same - but there are limited options in the area and we wanted to give it a try. The waitress didn't have an evening menu to share, but did recite a list of very interesting entrees which sounded creative; alas, it... More

Amore was a great stop for our Friday motorcycle riding group. The one price fits all was something unique. The menu is simple - eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy, grits, fruit, and home fries. You just have to tell the server what you don't want, and tell them the type of toast you'll have. The coffee is self... More

You can tell when the doors are open because the parking lot is full and the locals love it !!! It is quaint and cozy and full of friendly people who rave about their meal and dining experience.

Cute place, looks like a log cabin inside with a fireplace. Our table had a meatball sub, BLT, pasta and pepperoni pizza. Service was very friendly and everyone enjoyed their meals.

The waitstaff here are friendly and go out of their way to please. My wife and I had both breakfast and lunch on the same day. I had a goat cheese omelet with biscuit and hash browns and my wife had eggs, bacon and grits. No complaints! For lunch i had pot roast and my wife had sea bass. My... More

We had a very good meal at Amore. It is a small restaurant with a goo menu selection. The personal pizza I ordered was extremely tasty and my wife's salad was as well. Prices were reasonable and the wait staff did a nice job. Worth a visit if you are in Lake Toxaway.

Ate there tonight. I had the field and stream salad with chunks of grilled prime rib with greens, spinach leaves, mandarin oranges, walnuts and craisins. Good with blue cheese dressing. Also ordered Caesar salad, chef's salad and meatball sub. Take your own wine or beer. Dress is come as you are. Very clean, log cabin decor. Friendly service.

Amore isn't quite in the same league with some of its neighboring trout-and-wine-by-the-stream restaurants (think The Brown Trout) in terms of ambiance or menu selection. But you will find good food served by down-to-earth, hard-working people in a sparsely decorated space at this family enterprise. This being Friday, I had the grouper piccata, a particular favorite of our dining companions.... More

Everything is great. Be sure to try the NC Grouper, served only on Fridays. Family owned and operated. Rustic setting with no cell phones on.

Really. Mighty fine salads, too. Amore's nearly hides off the hwy between Cashiers and Brevard, but it's worth seeking out. Their pizzas are well crafted on thin, flavorful dough that is both crisp and tender - not an easy trick. Fresh is the byword here; their pesto is divine. Our favorite is their special: garlic parmesan cream, sun dried tomatoes,... More
