we have been going to the Toxaway/Cashiers area since 1981 but have only recently been eating @ Amore's.....it has become one of our absolute all time favorites....the setting in pure North Carolina Mountains....located in what was once a log cabin home MANY years ago, it is now one of our ' go to' places to eat....the Sunday Brunch, lunch and... From the outside, you cannot tell what delight awaits you. It was a bit cool outside and they had a gas fire place going. The interior is cabin-style, very cozy. The server was friendly. The menu has a good variety. I have never had a pizza that tasted so good as their hand-tossed Italian Stallion. They also offer really yummy... More

So glad we found this quaint restaurant in Lake Toxaway. We tried their "all you can eat" breakfast that was actually brought to the table rather than on a buffet. The waitress asked what we wanted and we said, "everything"! Our eggs were prepared to order and they were accompanied by bacon, ham, grits, hash browns, biscuits w/gravy, and toast.... More

When driving by Amore you would not expect the food to be so excellent. Amazing beefalo burger. The special dinner entrees are delicious. The pizza was made with fresh ingredients and flavours mixed to perfection. The atmosphere was surprisingly casual and sophisticated at the same time. Rustic decor with classical Italian music made for a pleasant dining experience.

Amore was a very pleasant surprise. Curb appeal/branding is, well average, so we were expecting food to be the same - but there are limited options in the area and we wanted to give it a try. The waitress didn't have an evening menu to share, but did recite a list of very interesting entrees which sounded creative; alas, it... More

Amore was a great stop for our Friday motorcycle riding group. The one price fits all was something unique. The menu is simple - eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy, grits, fruit, and home fries. You just have to tell the server what you don't want, and tell them the type of toast you'll have. The coffee is self... More

Cute place, looks like a log cabin inside with a fireplace. Our table had a meatball sub, BLT, pasta and pepperoni pizza. Service was very friendly and everyone enjoyed their meals.

The waitstaff here are friendly and go out of their way to please. My wife and I had both breakfast and lunch on the same day. I had a goat cheese omelet with biscuit and hash browns and my wife had eggs, bacon and grits. No complaints! For lunch i had pot roast and my wife had sea bass. My... More
