Wonderful food!

The pork chop specials are some of the best I've had. Seafood pasta is fresh and flavorful. You can't go wrong with eating anything off the menu!

Great experience at Freddie's. Nice setting, felt like small place in Chicago or NY vs. at the beach. Friendly and helpful service. All the food was great. Really enjoyed the pork chops (Freddie's special). Went back another night to eat there again! Make sure you get reservations, very small.

Even though this was off season at the beach, the place was packed, but we got a seat at the bar. The bartender was fabulous and funny, and attentive even though she was very busy with restaurant drink orders. The food was awesome, and was a huge serving.....I was able to eat for two more nights with the takehome box.... More

Early Saturday evening in late March, didn't think we would need a reservation, quite surprised at the how full restaurant was.. glad they were able to squeeze us in. Both the Lasagna and the Chop w/ peaches and pecans, as well as the sides, were delicious! Service was excellent. Agree with an earlier review - a hidden gem, have walked... More

4 adults and a 2 year old. All our portions were huge including the 2 year old's. She could have eaten off of the adult plates. The house salad is amazing one of the best salad dressings I've ever tasted! I had The Rum Runner Pork Chop it has a molasses glaze and grilled peaches, yum! I just got the... More

Extremely limited space, nearly always a wait, especially during peak Summer hours. Service is great, menu offers wide selection of seafood, pasta, and meat w/ lots of veal & pork chop dishes to choose from. But for the price...not so great. Have had much better, much cheaper. Ok but nothing to write home about.

A group of us came here after it was recommended by a friend. It was a rainy, chilly, miserable day, and it was a bit of a drive for us. Once we arrived, we knew almost instantly that it was worth the trip. We were greeted warmly, and the room has a cozy feel to it. There is an interesting... More

Our latest vist to Freddie's was 2weeks ago. As usual the food was wonderful the service was excellent. My wife had one of their famous pork chops and I had their eggplant parma with a side of their delicious meatballs.. Before the main meal we always enjoy their hot and fresh bread and their wonderful salad. We discovered this quaint... More

Freddie's is one of my favorite places to eat on pleasure island.Starting with the outstanding family style salad,or their great wine list.Any one of the pasta dishes are great.Their rack of lamb might be the best i have ever had. They are famous for their pork chops(numerous styles)and their service is impeccable. As a local we go here a lot in the... Well worth the short drive to Kure beach from Carolina beach. The atmosphere was awesome. Husband and I went on our last night in Carolina beach. Husband had the pork chops with peaches and pecans and loved it. Said he should have only ordered the one pork chop. The two were too much. That's unheard of with him. My favorite... More
