Was told by some family and friends it was a really good place to try if you want a little something of everything menu wise. We had taken a walk out on the pier just for a look see and decided to give them a try for lunch. And they were good. Didn't have to wait for a table. The... More

Everything was great at breakfast. They have some of the biggest biscuits and they're homemade. You could tell the gravy was probably packaged but it had a great flavor. My daughter and I really enjoyed the breakfast and it's nice that it's right beside the pier and the south wind motel.

Oh how I miss the Old Pier House! We visit Kure Beach several times a year. I can't count the time we have eaten at this restaurant. Now that it's under new ownership, the quality of food has gone down. We used to eat here 1-2 meals per day. Today was the last time I'll go here. The prices have... More

I cannot describe to you how big and delicious the biscuits were. If you stay in Kure, you have to go here at least one morning for breakfast, or every morning like we did :)

My wife ran over and picked us up a biscuit for breakfast, man they were good. I had country ham and egg and it was outstanding, wife had bacon and it was good too. Won't be sorry just get there early because they are busy.

We ate there for lunch, we had BLT and Carolina Burger and some jalapeno bites. It was all wonderful, the service, food everything. I have to say the bites were so good and spicy. We couldn't stop eating them.

The food is great southern American cuisine with some local seafood thrown in. You can't beat the location right on the beach. A true small beach town diner experience. Love it!

Food was excellent, we had a great experience! Very good waitress, and the price wasn't half bad. Very well kept little spot.
