This is just a good family diner. No frills, but great inexpensive food. I don't eat seafood, so can't rate on that, but my husband says the shrimp burger is great. They have a great club, burger, homestyle vegetables, but my favorite is their fabulous hush puppies. Regardless of what u order, they always bring out a few hush puppies... More

I see many great reviews for breakfast. We were there for dinner and it was a little disappointing. My husband got the flounder and shrimp and he said it was awesome. My meal wasn't that great. The black-eyed peas tasted watered down but a little salt on them helped. My fried squash was soggy so I pulled off the breading... More

We live here and eat here often. The grits are the best I've ever eaten and the cook knows how to fry eggs. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We have a beach house in Kure and this place is easy to walk to. The staff is so friendly and the hush puppies are good. I usually go for breakfast and it is good. Sometimes we walk down after breakfast is over and I do enjoy their special. However, I had a nasty burger there which was sad since... More

My daughter and I stayed at Kure Beach for a short vacation and the Kure Beach Diner was one of the brightest parts of the trip. We loved the down-home feel and the super-friendly staff. Their breakfast is wonderful - just like home! We also enjoyed the tasty lunch and dinner offerings. If you like good southern fare in a... More

their food is definitely overpriced. their food is nothing to rave about. we went at lunch time. we got a burger cost : 5.50, 3 vegetables at 1.95 each and 2 sodas at roughly 2.00. yet we got charged almost 19.00 yet what we got does not add up to 19.00. And i quoted you the price off the menu.... More

We had shrimp burgers and onion rings for lunch. The burgers were really fried shrimp on an egg-bread roll with lettuce, tomato and red onion slices. Paired with some cocktail sauce it was pretty tasty. The onion rings were real and also good. The waitress threw in a small basket of hush puppies to hold us over while we waited... More

Have eaten here for over 25 years and have never been disappointed with food or service. Breakfast is my #1 preference, but also enjoy dinner entrees. Large menu variety & prices are very reasonable. You will find the service above average....just don't go expecting a lush, plush 7-course style restaurante' & you will enjoy good food at a reasonable price.
