Always good

Loved it the first time I tried it in 2011, went back in 2015 and it was as great as I remember. The wait staff was courteous and attentive. I had the grilled Mahi with pineapple and coconut. Very good! Don't miss the coconut rice and black beans. My favorite! We also had the crab dip, fried... read more

What a great little restaurant! We shared the Seafood Dinner Trio, more than enough food for 2 people! We also had the Happy Hour Shrimp (0.15 a piece) and topped it off with the chocolate peanut butter pie (made on premises). Great food, reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

We went for lunch. 4 adults & 5 kids, 2 appetizers, few alcoholic beverages, 9 meals, & the kids had virgin fruity drinks. Tip and all was $180. The food was fantastic & atmosphere was perfect for the beach. I would recommend going when they open for lunch, no line and servers were attentive. Highly recommend!!

OBX isn't known for its top rate cuisine but definitely for its character. Hurricane Mo's doesn't disappoint with their cute interior and fun outdoor spaces. Food seemed overly salty and service was nice but not as attentive as they could be. Enjoyed having carafe options for wine and food seemed fairly well priced for portion sizes. Will definitely be back!

I've been here several times, in season and off season. It's now my go-to place any time I'm in town. I really like the way the bar seating is centrally located, so you aren't facing the wall. The table seating areas are larger than most "local" places. I can't remember everything I've eaten there but it's all been good. With... More

Came to the Outer Banks for Spring Break. After reading reviews about Hurricane Mo's, we decided to try it. It did NOT disappoint! Great atmosphere and delicious food. I had the steamed shrimp, baked potato, and black beans. Hands down the BEST shrimp I've ever eaten. My side dishes were very flavorful. My husband had Seafood Virginia (believe that's what... More

We had a 1/2 carafe of wine, the island grilled chicken, the pan seared seafod platter and the key lime pie. All were excellent. The sides I ordered with the seafood were the green beans and the Asian slaw. Loved them.

Every time we're in this area we seem to get to HuriccaneMo's. Significantly, we are drawn to a place tha has Guinesson tap. But the $0.15 shrimp and $0.35 wings are irresistible (3-6 pm daily). This time we only stopped in form the Guiness, but we ended up eating too. By the time happy hour is over, we're too full... More

We have been here several times it's very small but the food is very good at a decent price last night I had the fried scallops they were cooked perfectly and wasn't overly breaded. The she crab soup was also very tasty.
