We've been coming here for 6 years and I think the food just keeps getting better!! Absolutely love the fish tacos, hot wings, grilled chicken sandwich, even the kids meal cheeseburger is amazing! Service is always great! Additional parking added and of course the outdoor decks. It looked packed in the parking lot at 5:30, but we were seated inside... More

We heard from a local that this place was good. I agree. I gave 4 stars on atmosphere only bc it's not fancy. Your view is the parking lot unless you are on the upper deck bar. We were wearing shorts and tank tops and weren't looking for fine dining, so Moe's fit the bill. I had fish tacos. They... More

We had a party of 12 on Friday night. We arrived at 5 pm knowing that there would be a wait. We all headed to the second floor deck for drinks while we waited for our table. Tropical drinks and IPA on tap were just what we needed after a day at the beach. Wait was not long. Seafood tacos... More

Very little outside seating in OBX and this was certainly one of the best. Mostly fried food but everything we had was great especially the gazpacho and mahi bites. The staff upon entering and exiting was excellent.

We first heard about Hurricane Moes from a resident in the dead of winter. We went to avail ourselves of the Happy Hour "wings", Tacos and shrimp special and were overwhelmed with the quality of quantity of food at a very reasonable price. We soon found ourselves going once a month, and in the summer, once a week. We never... More

First of I apparently can't read. For years I was reading the name of the restaurant as the "Hurricane Moo". Then it is located next to the Black Pelican, an OBX institution and my favorite OBX restaurant for years (not any Mo). So till now I never made it to Mo's. What made me go there this time was a... Met up with some family here while they were vacationing in the OBX. First visit, and enjoyed it! Waitresses and hostess were very personable and outgoing, and the food was really really good. I had the seafood sampler, with shrimp, mahi mahi, and tuna. While I wished the portions were bigger, the food was all cooked really well, the fish... More

Must confess we've never eaten from the menu, only the Happy Hour offerings. But the quality of those for the price makes this one of our favorite restaurants. We indulge in 'nekked' wings and buttery boiled shrimp and tacos with the works - and stuff ourselves for pennies, really. It's loud - not a place for an intimate conversation! And... More

Happy hour was great! Tacos/Wings are amazing, someone in my party tried to eat 140 shrimp and did not succeed. Highly recommend a Funky Monkey drink and making it through the crowd for happy hour!
