I sorta don't want you to go here. It's small, and you'll probably end up taking a table I need for myself. We live to eat breakfast at Art's. The pancakes are gigantic, the bacon is perfectly cooked and the biscuits are like something Jesus will give you if you make it to Heaven. If you need mocha caramel lattes... More

We have eaten breakfast at many places on the outer banks of North Carolina and I have to say my breakfast this morning blew the other places out of the water, excellent food.

On my recent trip to the Outer Banks we decided to go to Art's Place for breakfast one morning since it was in walking distance from the house we were staying at. I am so glad we went. I ordered the traditional breakfast with eggs, biscuit, bacon, and grits. It was so good, the grits were amazing. My husband got... More

Was recommended to us at the Thai Room by a local. He said the Thai room was the best in the area for Thai (he was right) and Art's was best for burgers. We took his opinion and tried Art's. He was correct. Don't go here for a tourist themed eatery. Many locals hanging out in front playing cornhole but... More

My husband and I saw good reviews and decided to try this place out while on vacation in Nags Head. It was outstanding. It's just a little old place that I probably wouldn't of stopped in other wise. Their service was great, Very friendly girl waited on us and the cooks were friendly as well. They had someone set up... More

We decided to try this place based on other reviews and are certainly glad that we did! This was the best burger I have had in a long time! The environment was laid back and certainly had a "local" feel, but the staff couldn't have been friendlier to us, the most blatant tourists in town. The cook obviously enjoys his... More

Had breakfast at Art's place while visiting the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Had no idea what to expect. Just saw on map and figured, why not. We were very pleastly surprised. Breakfast was great! Had fried eggs, grits, sausage and sliced tomato ( my version of perfect breakfast) . Boyfriend had Monty Crisco. Grits were creamy and sooo good.... More

This "hole in the wall" bar and restaurant is very small and tucked away but the burgers are awesome. Great casual place to have lunch or dinner. I would definitely go back!
