Husband had the crab cake he reported that it was just average. I had the tune steak and it was very good. Nice size portions. Appetizers fish bites very tasty and husband had the berry salad. He stated that salad was very good.

My husband and I went there and enjoyed great food , I had seafood risotto , my husband had the prime rib, everything was cooked to perfection. For an app, we had blacken tuna with salsa and chips,it was something different. The price is all reasonable , and it was full, but the servers were all moving , and making... More

We got here early for dinner (4:30) because we skipped lunch and it was a good thing because the place got packed shortly thereafter. The service was good, definitely a slower pace than NY, but then you are in a vacation beach town. The food was very good. My mother-in-law had a dish that I am hoping my husband can... More

THE FOOD IS SO GOOD. My husband and I waited 45 minutes and it was the best meal we had hands down. We got the Popeye salad and the Wanchese Fisherman's Risotto. If nobody was watching I would have licked the plate. Best risotto I have had at a restaurant EVER. Order it and decide.

We found our dinner to be one of the better ones you will find at the beach. The menu is diverse, but seafood is the star. Our entrees were nicely prepared, and I particularly enjoyed my blackened swordfish, which was not overly blackened which is often the case. Folks tended to dress up more for Black Pelican than elsewhere, though... More

Staff is friendly but they go at beach speed. Food is very good at leat the rest of my party. I ordered the French dip sandwich roll and it was just ok. Everyone else ordered seafood and said it was very good.

Food and service is good, but the wait can be long so I would suggest getting there slightly off the main meal times. Large menu with good variety. Historic, somewhat rustic building but very clean and well maintained. The Wright Brothers sent their historic telegram from this building.

Nothing to write home about. Fried flounder was soggy. Probably wouldn't come back and pay the high dinner prices. Service was a bit slow as well

Black Pelican was excellent! Be prepared for a wait if you don't have reservations, but you can sit in the lounge area without them. We ordered the jalapeño poppers, pizzas, crab legs, and prime rib, and all were absolutely delicious, home made, and perfectly cooked. It's so impressive to be at a restaurant that does such volume but doesn't skimp... More

Went here with a group of 8. I do like that they do not automatically add gratuity for large parties; I always tip well and am somewhat insulted when tip is added based on size of table. They seem to cater to large groups. We had about 15 mins wait and everyone was drooling over the desserts in the display... More
