We had their specials, Shrimp and Scallops Risotto and in linguine, Baked Shrimp and Crab - just had some shells. They were all good and served pipping hot ! Scallops had a little sand. We were there on the week day, the wait is 30 mins, early or later in the evening.

No reservations accepted and even with 2 people we had to wait 30 minutes. However, we were lucky to find a seat at the bar. For dinner I ordered the Mahi-Mahi with a butter sauce. It was done to perfection. The vegetables served with it and the saffron rice were delicious. I have been to this restaurant many times.

The food was great. It was the best Risotto I ever had. (Disclaimer: I haven't eaten a lot of risotto dishes, but a few.) My wife's dish was also delicious. Her Crème Brule was ok. However, the coconut pie was fantastic. Chock full of coconut, and a large portion. Expect a wait. (We had to wait about 45 minutes to... More

It was good but we had hoped for better food (like outstanding) based on other reviews. They were pretty fast and very busy. Polite server but too many tables for him to keep up with paying attention to us as we might expect for this price.

Most difficult menu to choose from. Staff was excellent. Food was great. Had panko encrusted halibut with beet thyme risotto. Great. We will return.

We always eat at least twice during our annual week vacation in OBX. Their Greek wood fired pizza is delightful and their seafood is the best! We love their Tuna Tatake and huge onion rings for appetizers! Check out their dessert case on the way to your table and save some room to have some! Also a great spot for... More

The food was fantastic, you get what you pay for here, it's a modest little place that caters to you. They were so busy the other bar tender came over to serve us. No waiting for anything. We will be back!

Not a Drive-in. Not a Dive. Must be a Diner. One of Guy Fieri's places. Building and Parking were unique. Across the street from beach.

We've been coming to the Outer Banks for almost 20 years. We have a tradition of checking into our rental on Saturday afternoon, then heading to the Black Pelican for our first meal at the beach. We did so again over Labor Day weekend. As usual, the restaurant did not disappoint! Our family of four all chose one of the... More

Recently visited for the first time. Probably the best shrimp and crab dip I've ever tasted. Excellent. Chef's Pasta was incredible.
