Went for dinner w family. Basic bar food, nothing memorable. Limited menu. There are better choices unless you are Judy interested on beer.

My family and I had a dinnertime meal here while vacationing in the area. The property was easy to find, though parking was a bit cramped. The restaurant has a small Coy pond outside, which the kids liked. They had to wait until we were leaving, because we were seated immediately upon arrival. The inside is bright and airy, with... My husband and I ate here for dinner one night and really enjoyed our meals. I ordered a fish sandwich (mahi) and it was so filling and so fresh, not to mention huge! The fries come pre seasoned (which I'm not really a fan of) but it was just right and very good - I ate my whole meal which... More

On numerous trips to the Outer Banks, we make the Rundown Cafe our first stop. Super fresh food, well-prepared, friendly service. Love it.

So we really needed a good meal after last night's experience at a different eatery. My baby sister, who I am going to miss dearly this fall as I leave for college, found this diamond in the rough. Don't be fooled by the name, this is no rundown. We arrived and were seated promptly. The Service was great. My 1... More

We had lunch here on June 24, 2014. We were the third party through the door when they opened at 11:30. Our server was very friendly and provided great service throughout our meal. I had the bacon cheese burger which was very, very good, and very large. My wife had the Baja fish burrito – which she loved!! We would... More

Took a wrong turn trying to get onto the highway in Kitty Hawk and stumbled upon this strangely-named restaurant, and what a gem we discovered! Two story establishment with Hula Deck serving cold drinks and small plates, along with plenty of inside seating in the surf/Jamaican-themed interior. Full bar, but the standout was the delicious and generously-portioned food. Order the... More

Staying at the Hilton property within walking distance we decided to try it out rather than drive. Not real crowded on a Tuesday night. Had several brews on tap to include one local one. Started with a pound of boiled shrimp. They were excellent. Had the fish sandwich and it was fresh grilled Mahi. All good. Ate downstairs as limited... More
