My new bride and I were looking for something to nibble on when we were on the beach and looked for a sandwich place. This place looked particularly appealing and we stopped. I got the Cubana and my wife got the hummus sandwich. We got them to go, packed them in the cooler, and headed to the beach. We stopped... More

We came here with 2 adults, 3 kids. The cashier who took our order was quite unpleasant, & one of the servers was rude, as well. Also, tables were slow to be cleaned. They weren't too busy but we waited well over 40 mins for food, finally, we asked for the food to go and left to come back later... More

My family stopped in for lunch and we were glad we did. The GLG is tucked away from tourist spots so it seemed the others dining were locals. I had a Cobb Salad, it was large with the best selection of veggies I have had on a salad. It came with a warm dinner roll, it was more than I... More

stop by here every year when I'm in OBX. Great sandwich selection. I had the salmon and it was prepared perfectly. Have had many other options and never disappointed. Only negative was that the indoor area wasn't air-conditioned on the day I was there this time. The fans were on but the humidity was high and it was stuffy. Still,... More

I had been here before a few years ago, and returned this summer with my husband and child. There was some confusion over the menus. I saw 2 menus, one that listed breakfast only and one that listed breakfast and lunch items on a table when you first walk in. When I asked a worker behind the counter if we... More

Stumbled on this place because it is literally next door to another one of my favorite OBX places, Trio. We just so happened to be visiting for restaurant week and for $20 we both got eggs cooked to order, two slices of bacon, two link sausages, toast, and pancakes with coffee.. and the food was phenomenal. excellent value. The atmosphere... More

We only were able to enjoy breakfasts there...but holy smokes best biscuits I've ever had...the crab omelettes....Devine and home fries and grits...fabulous. Coffee delicious and the service was wonderful. It's just a little strange if you have never been there before...expected to be greeted by a hostess and then figured out you needed to go to the counter to order... More

I love to go here because they have awesome coffee in the morning and the breakfast's are all made fresh. The lunch here is really good and they make fresh salads, some really different items like Thai Peanut salad....YUM !!! SUPER Friendly staff & fresh baked rolls and cookies.

My wife and I split the good life club sandwich, which was excellent and a half was more than enough with the chips and pickle for lunch. They also sell the excellent Tate cookies.

Am local and have tried to give this place a chance several times. Food is generally mediocre, the last time ham tasted bad in omelet. When I complained, cashier jerked it out of my hand and cook went to make me another, slamming around pots etc. I explained I didn't want another and then because of the bad behavior asked... More
