I have eaten here before and the food and service was always "top notch" but my family and I ate there 11/26/14 .We arrived around 5:40 pm and we seated right away. We were told our server would be right over while we viewed the menu. In some 5- 10 minutes we were still waiting to have our orders taken.... More

We had a quiet lunch mid-week in Nov. 2014. They were hanging hundreds of Christmas ornaments from the ceiling when we arrived. My young daughter and I were so enamored by them I didn't notice the lunch specials menu. I wish I had because they had soft shell crab sandwiches. I got the the seafood lasagna which was fine (almost... More

Breakfast was good. The decor can be distracting, but it is very festive. The wait staff was pleasant. Was within walking distance to our hotel, which was convenient.

We went to dine at Jolly Roger on Thursday night, not wanting too much to eat, as we had eaten a late lunch. They had Tapas night with small portions of all kinds of different things, that we all had to try. They were wonderful, The table of women next to us had a bunch too, and they quickly became... More

Let me say the breakfast is tasty and plentiful. We went here because our hotel (Sea Ranch) gave us vouchers for free breakfast due to the on site restaurant being closed during the off season. The place is cluttered and messy. It has lots of X-Mas decor everywhere along with a dated look, but that may be part of their... More

We stayed at a nearby hotel and had "free" breakfast deal. My mom had been to the area before but I had not been. She thought she remembered this little pirate themed restaurant and hoped we would be able to find it and eat there. When we got to our hotel the first night we came over to eat and... More

Came in during a nor'easter and had a great Italian meal. Highly recommend the balsamic dressing that had just a hint of sweetness. I got the chicken Parmesan and it was delicious. Portions are large and flavor is full. My husband got the shrimp scampi. Shrimp was about the size of my thumb and the pasta was light and flavorful;... More

We always pay several visits to the Jolly Roger Restaurant and Bar while in the Outer Banks every year. This year though, we did not visit as frequently. We usually go to the bar at least 3 times in a week for their ribs, chicken wings, and steamed shrimp specials, but only visited it once on our first day here.... More

We had to wait for a table, but there is a gift shop to help pass the time. The décor seems a little dated, from the sixties or seventies perhaps, and the place feels a little crowded. There was a nice variety of omelets, accompanied by thick slabs of home made toasted breads. I would have had the breakfast lasagna... More
