We've been enjoying Bob's Restaurant for years, when oysters are in season. They bring them in fresh from Virginia's Eastern Shore, and know how to cook them (lightly fried). For $9, you get a dozen oysters, the best hush puppies ever, and a couple of sides. We always feel welcome, and look forward to our November visit.

We have never had a bad meal here! It's always a stop for breakfast or lunch during off season visits and sometimes dinner during the in season! All you can eat crab legs is an environment where you can eat them how you want! Quick, friendly service and great value!!! Good for kids too and morning cocktails!

The rest of the marquee reads "Eat and get the hell out". After a short wait for a table, the hostess/receptionist showed us what was to be our table then slid a "regular" into it while our backs were turned then said "Oh well" and we waited for another table. Not a good start. The subsequent service and food was... More

Had lunch at Bob's Eat and Get Out in Sept 2014. Ordered the special - Crab Reuben. What a terrible choice - sandwich was wet and the crab was old. Husband likes to go because his name is Bob but that didn't help in any way. I'd avoid this place. Despite being almost empty the service was mediocre. REally can't... More

This is my normal favorite place for breakfast in Nags head area. Such large quantity of food and most of the time amazingly done. This trip however was average. The food was a bit lacking on quality of the chef. The coffee was $2.50 a cup. Really??? I was told they lost Bob this year. I hope they will keep... More

We were on our way off the island and looking for something to take the edge off our hangover. We stopped at a few stack'em high places and each one had a line that went around the building. So we stumbled across Bob's Grill. We are so happy we did! Our service was excellent and the true definition of Southern... More

If you are hungry and want a big hearty breakfast this is the place to go. We always make sure to eat here when we are in OBX. We were a party of 5 and everyone was pleased with their choices. A must have is the chocolate pancakes even if you just get one on the side!
