Good beer

We went here to check out the Earth day festival in the outside area. I ordered a flight of their five current beers and enjoyed them all. The one with lemon grass was interesting and refreshing.

Brew pubs are among our favorite types of eating establishments and Outer Banks Brewing Station has now become a favorite! Great beer and fresh, well prepared seafood! What's not to like?

Service was slow once the server found out we were only there for drinks. The building and atmosphere are pretty cool. The drinks were good, I got the root beer float and if it wasn't so expensive I would have ordered another. I was told by others the beer was good. The wind turbine out back generates power for the... More

The food was very surprising, as most brew pubs do not have food with this much flavor. I can highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits, with Sweet potato chips. Also the snow crab legs were cooked to perfection. Hubby had the petit filet and commented it was one of the best steaks he's had. This place brews it own beers... More

I've ate here twice now while vacationing in the obx . I can't speak about the beer because I didn't have any . Their either hoppy or ipa's. The food is ok, nothing spectacular . We had the hush puppies , fried ocra, wedges with pepper jack cheese , onion rings and steamed shrimp. Shrimp was pretty good, onion rings... More

Stopped for beer and appetizers this past week. We ordered beer flights, chicken wings and crab dip. I was looking forward to the lemongrass wheat beer. It was very cloudy and yeasty - bartender said it was a new keg. Brown ale was good and husband said ipa was okay. Crab dip was ok - not very crabby. Chicken wings... More

Good food and beer selection. They have a very nice outdoor seating area. The prices were really good

We wanted a light lunch on Easter since we would be eating a heavier meal later that evening. Since it was Easter and we knew it would get busy fast, we arrived around 11:30 and was seated right away. Our waitress Leah was one of the best we have ever had. You could tell she enjoyed working there and she... More

I ordered an IPA and sat outside to drink. The outdoor area in the back was pretty cool and relaxing place for a beer. The beer itself was probably one of the worse craft beers I have ever drank. It had a skunk-like aroma and very little taste, bitter as expected. The only good thing is that it did not... More

Stopped in last night for supper before heading out to our beach house. The food was good and served promptly. I had a bisonburger which was delicious. By buddy had the fried flounder platter, good sized portion and cooked well. I ordered onion rings (yummy) and hush puppies for appetizers. Sadly, the hush puppies were over cooked and a bit...
