Description: Pigman's Bar-B-Que is the premiere barbeque restaurant on the Outer Banks...
Pigman's Bar-B-Que is the premiere barbeque restaurant on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. For over 16 years, we have been serving up 'Que to tourists and locals alike. We have won multiple awards including "Best of the Beach" in the BBQ category in 2012 and BBQ Showdown OBX "Best Ribs" in 2013! We offer many varieties of BBQ with signature sauces to go along with it! We have all the fixings you can imagine and we also do catering. At Pigman’s Bar-B-Que, we take all the necessary steps to make our BBQ unique as well. For example, all of our signature BBQ’s are cooked on site by smoking. We cook this way for two reasons: To cook the meat slowly to retain the natural juices, and infuse it with oak flavor. Then we add our signature sauces, thus creating BBQ. Every BBQ option we sell is hand-crafted, and has some sort of vinegar-based sauce added to them. Although our vinegar-based BBQ options are delicious, we have discovered that there are many different palates out there to please. As a result, a few of our BBQ options have ketchup and an additional blend of proprietary spices to give our customers a “tomato based” option, also known as “ketchup based”.

Vinegar bases BBQ

On a trip with my mother she had never tried North Carolina BBQ which is apple cider based...I normally don't like it but she wanted to try it...this was some of the best I've tried...especially the Brisket...the only improvement would be the size of the cole slaw side 2oz is just to small

If you live in Kill Devil Hill's, you go to Pigman's. If you are visiting, you don't know that you are driving by a little pork palace designed to tickle your tummy. Each year we go there to load up on pulled pork, pork and beans, hush puppies, cole slaw, and BBQ beef. They do take out, so you can... More

One of our favorite places to go after spending some time on the beach. Great food and casual enough to go in in a cover up with sandy beach-hair. A definite for bbq and hush puppies with sweet tea!

We stopped for lunch after visiting the Wright Brothers Monument. We were just before noon and not a long line. We all ordered something different and all were happy with the results. I can't remember the name of the item my son-in-law ordered but it was a double or extra large sandwich. He loved every bite and it totally filled... More

Authentic NC ribs. Great meal, value for your money with ribs that fall off the bone. Good location centrally located and friendly staff.

Ate here twice during our 2-week stay in Duck, NC in late October. We had the BBQ sandwich and Brunswick stew combo both times--absolutely delicious and price is unbelievable. Don't miss eating here in the fall!

Pulled pork is quite alright. Not exciting but good. The interior feels old and dark. Desperately needs a facelift. I usually only focus on the food but somehow this interior drags me down.

Pigman's is one of several very good BBQ joints on the Outer Banks. They have a wide variety of BBQ and sides. Worth a stop.

We stop in at Pigman's every time we are in the Outer Banks. I will say that food quality has gone down a little in the past 2-3 years, but the BBQ is still the best. They used to have amazing sweet potato fries, but the ones they serve now are limp and soggy. Their potato salad was a bit... More

We walked in, placed our order at the counter, got our own tea. Almost as quick as we sat at a table they brought us our order. Similar to a fast food place but a whole lot better food.
