We just left this place without even getting to try the food. We had a 7 pm reservation and they were unable to seat us when we arrived. After waiting over 20 minutes for our table they finally sat us only to wait again for our waiter. By 7:50 when he still hadn't taken a drink order let alone food... More

My wife and I went here for the first time and we're very happy we did. We started with the She Crab Bisque (good if you like sherry) and Coconut Shrimp which were both very good for appetizers. For our main course we both had the Mixed Grille (yellow fin tuna, fillet medallions, vegetable medley, and garlic potatoes) which were... More

This quaint home turned restaurant is a must visit treat for us. The food is great and most of the servers seem to be part of the family ;-). They will make you feel right at home. Save room for dessert - the Nutella cake is a must do.

My wife and I have been going to Colington Cafe since 1997. Most recently, we dined there during the week of September 7. It never disappoints. The food is always very good, especially the she crab bisque and any of the fresh fish. We had mahi, and some filet. The service is efficient and attentive. The restaurant does not serve... More

During our vacation we pick one night for a "Special" dinner. This year I picked Colington Cafe and I am so glad I did. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever dined in. The atmosphere was great, dinner was delicious and the service was impeccable. Our server was Billy and he was the best. My filet was... More

We went here for our Anniversary being we were in the area. The dinner was very good and one of the best filets I've had in a while. Nice ambience, busy place, glad we made reservations. We actually went back later in the week for another dinner. Good but not quite as good as the first time. Definitely worth a... More

This place is one of the best restaurants we have dined at in a long time. It was out We were advised to make a reservation and that was good advice because the place was packed. Everything was delicious... Our appetizer was the tartines which includes an excellent variety of flavors of pesto, olives, feta and roasted tomatoes. Our entrees... More

Amazing! Delicious! Best Meal in OBX! Must try! Make reservations or can expect a long wait. The food was heavenly, the filet melts in your mouth and cuts like butter! Seafood is very fresh and cooked to perfection. Everything we order from the appetizer of the hot crab dip to our main courses of shrimp and scallop Napoleon and filet... More

We had our rehearsal dinner here for our wedding in June. Honestly, we cannot say enough good things about the food and the owners. Carlin, one of the owners, was wonderful when it came to helping us plan the dinner for our 18 guests. She made sure to decorate for us and worked with us to make a wonderful event... More
