The Collington Café is not on the main drag, you have to look for it, but when you find it you find a little slice of heaven. The food is excellent as is the pricing. the wait staff are courteous, friendly and knowledgable, and the wine list is superb. A great dining experience

The Colington Cafe is off the beaten path, so you have to look for it, but the search is very worthwhile. The Cafe is in a large old house, so it has a feeling of being at home and also has spaces where you can have some privacy if you want. The service is so friendly and efficient and the... More

When we visit the Outer Banks for 3-4 days we have dinner at the Colington Cafe at least twice. We have been dining at this wonderful restaurant for years and it still has the original owners. The owners are great people and the staff is very professional and personable. The menu has a wide selection and everything is prepared well... More

What a great find at the Outer Banks! We enjoyed this darling cafe, outstanding She Crab soup, wonderful entrees and very reasonable wine prices. Excellent service from Holly. We were celebrating our anniversary and this was a very special place to come. Would highly recommend!

This place always delivers. Bar none, best over-all restaurant on the OBX for quality, price, and atmosphere. I have eaten here for past 25 years...same owners, virtually same wait staff. You don't see that often. This place is very consistent, and has a great variety of meat, seafood dishes, with a French flair and taste. From app's to deserts, and... More

My only complaint was having to wait for 15 minutes even though we had reservations. It was after the beautiful atmosphere, the attentive service and the wonderful food that I realized why we had to wait. No one wants to leave. I highly recommend the Colington Cafe. (be sure to get reservations)

We had a delightful return visit to the Colington Cafe in Kill Devil Hills. The service and food are both exceptional. The chef is very accommodating and will substitute items. There may be a small up-charge depending on the request. We had fresh yellow fin tuna that was lightly bronzed, crab cakes and scallops along with their beautifully presented Compose... More
