This place did not let me down. It was everything I hoped for and more. The food was good and the service was great. The place was very nice white table cloths and a rose on the table. They sat us right next to the fire place very nice and romantic. I loved it .Thank you for a great night.

This is a beautiful restaurant and location on Collington Road. The restaurant is a wonderful place for special occasions. We have eaten here many times and are always happy with our meals. Our waiter "Billy" has been working there forever and is a true professional and helped make our dining experience exceptional. We had filets, seafood, pasta and deserts and... More

Set off the main highway in kill devil hills, the colington cafe is a quaint yet bustling restaurant. The queues for a table were literally out the door; reservations are highly recommended. We started with a warm Brie, beautifully creamy, served with warm rolls and fruit. I followed this with filet Dijon which again was excellent, accompanied with a wonderful peppercorn... More

This charming old home converted into a restaurant and shaded by large 100 plus year spanish oaks is a special place to dine. I've been coming to the Colington Cafe for the past 7 years when visiting the Outer Banks. The consistent quality of the meals, knowledgeable and well trained servers, and pleasant atmosphere brings me back every year. My... More

This restaurant is our whole family's favorite at the Outer Banks. Even our older daughter, who could only come for a couple days this year, asked that we wait for her to go to Colington. The regular menu is diverse and always good, but the specials are unique and delicious. You really can't go wrong with what you order here.... More

I loved the last vacation I took to the Outer Banks, and my visit to the Colington Cafe was one of the highlights. It's a bit off the beaten path, which I think adds to the charm. First of all, the seafood is awesome. I had the She Crab bisque: fresh and zesty with sizable chunks of delicious crab. The... More

We have eaten here for the last two years on our way to our beach vacation. The food is exceptionally good and the service is outstanding. The grouper was excellent, and the steak and crab cake were exceptional. It is tucked away off the main highway but poses no problem. Make sure to make a reservation days or weeks in... More

Had our anniversary dinner at Colington Café last night. Probably our 7th or 8th visit over the years and as with every other visit the food and service were superb. The bacon wrapped scallops in a sweet BBQ sauce were fantastic. I have been hooked for some time on their 6oz. filet topped with a generous scoop of lump crabmeat... More

This is by far the best meal I've had while in OBX. I've been going to the outer banks for years and have some local favorites. This year we found Colington and will definitely put it on my list for annual visits. This is not your average beach restaurant. Yes, they have local seafood but this is much more of... More

We visited this restaurant in July 2014 based upon a recommendation from someone we met. Delicious food. Mixed grill consisting of grilled tuna and beef was delicious. My son had Filet Mignon which he said was the best he's ever had. Definitely worth trying. They have very reasonably priced bottles of wine too! We ordered a $16 bottle of Pinot... More
