Absolutely amazing place! Our server Cynthia has been on board here for 21 years! Everything amazingly fresh! Scallops Rumaki, after all these years, still on the menu and a favorite! My wife had the grilled tuna which was exceptional. I ordered the steak and crab: a filet topped with jumbo lump crab with the delectable sauce. Mmmmmm. Mmmmmm. OUTSTANDING! Very... More

My husband and I have traveled to OBX many times in the past 18 years however we had never been to this restaurant until now. It was easy to get to and we had wonderful meals. I had the tuna that came with filet medallions and I loved them as well as the mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. Our server,... More

I was blown away by this place! We've been meaning to go here for years, and we couldn't ever get a reservation. So glad we finally did!! The appetizer platter was amazing. Plenty of food for everyone! The steaks were amazing. Cooked perfectly. Service was superb. Julie is the most amazing waitress!! Don't pass this place up just because it's... More

The "elders" at our family reunion took a night out from the larger group to have dinner together at this very fine restaurant. The service was good, the food excellent, and the atmosphere quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the beachfront. We sent some of the "youngers" there the next night!

In a cottage-like building, Colington was a very pleasant dining experience. Its away from some of the busyness of other areas yet easy to get to. Its in a rather small house in one of the few areas with some trees. Service and food both excellent. Arrived late yet staff still very hospitable and prepared a wonderful meal with the... More

Quiet atmosphere -- great food year after year -- it is that one spot for a quiet relaxing dinner for any special occasion. Prices are very reasonable. Really enjoy the atmosphere and nice staff.

If you're in need of a fine dining experience while on the OBX, put this place on your list. Excellent service, excellent portion size, great food. Nicest surprise was being able to buy a bottle of wine with dinner at unusually low prices. The Wait Staff is friendly, polite, and super. A relaxing atmosphere. We will do this again! The... More

We tried this restaurant after finding it here on Trip Adivisor and we loved it. Great meal, atmosphere, and service! We both had the the "trio" entree with filet mignon, lump crab meat, and grilled shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly, We even loved the potatoes and veggies.
