My boyfriend and I decided to try Colington Café because of great reviews on trip advisor. We went to the outer banks for a little vacation and this resturant is Divine!! I decided to try the she crab soup and was not disappointed. It was full of crab meat and the flavor had a hit of sherry in it. It... More

We decided to order carry out after watching football all day Sunday! This was the best decision we made all week! I ordered thte Shrimp and Crabcake Combo and added the Scallops for $4.00 additional. We ordered an appetizer of Coconut Shrimp w/orange mustard sauce. My partner and I shared this dinner, which was also served with a red bliss... More

We are repeat customers at the Colington Cafe. This visit was our third, and celebrated a birthday. I must say, with the hustle and bustle of Rt. 158 which runs through the Outer Banks with traffic nonending, the Colington is such a respite. It is tucked away so pleasantly into the wooded area of Colington, that your are put at... More

Over the years we have learned to take the advice of the locals on certain items. With restaurants there is an opportunity to make bad choices based on the type of cuisine one enjoys. We took the advice of what we felt was a reliable source and were extremely pleased with the result. From the minute we walked in the... More

This is such a wonderful place to eat and the atmosphere is awesome. Just pulling into their parking lot and looking at the big oak tree is a moment to remember. The food is always excellent and so are their desserts. You cannot go wrong stopping here.

Let me begin by stating this restaurant is located in a charming old victorian era home with seating both upstairs as well as on the main level. We had requested seating on the main level due to issues with the navigation of stairs. We were promptly seated in the room of our choice just to the right of the entrance... More

We took my mother here for her birthday on the 7th, as this is her favorite restaurant and she is a Local. All four of us had delicious meals. The filet and crab cake was great as always and my husband had their Special for the evening of Wahoo and Shrimp over 3 cheese grits and Tasso ham gravy. Well,... More

Every year when we visit the Outer Banks we have our final dinner at The Colington Cafe. The food is always fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful. Can't wait to go back next year.
