Nestled off the beaten path in a Victorian house surrounded by 400 year-old oak trees, we are a local's favorite. Our seafood is brought in fresh daily, and we use locally grown ingredients. All the locals love our filet dishes as well as our large menu. All desserts are homemade. We are a family run restaurant with most of our staff having been with us for over 15 years. We do everything to make sure all of our customers leave happy.

Exceptional Food and Service!!!!!!

Our servers, Billy and Angela were a wonderful team and made the evening with a group of friends one of the best nights dining out that we spent at the Outer Banks. Specials were reviewed and suggestions were given as to what they felt were favorites. It was a tough decision. The menu had so many... read more

We raved about this place for days after our meal! It was so good! We will always dine here when in the area again. Scallops, pork chops, she crab soup were amazing. Worth every penny. Waitstaff was great and helpful with suggestions! Not just the most expensive entree was her favorite!

Great seafood, service and ambience. The crab cakes and seafood pasta were wonderful and we loved the home-like atmosphere of a restaurant with multiple small rooms. A similar meal near San Francisco where we live, would have been almost double the cost!

Great setting, very romantic, excellent service, delicious food! I can't say enough good things about this place. I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu. I really wish I had had room for the desserts--they looked wonderful.

Little white lights in the trees, candles and fresh roses on the tables and great food. It looks like an expensive place but prices are very comparable to places which much less character. Great staff and the chef works around my allergies.

We first visited Colington Cafe last summer at the instances of my wife. It was a most delightful experience and have returned twice. The last two times I have ordered the eight ounce filet with mashed potatoes and my wife has received the special. Memory does not serve me as to what she ordered but I know she found it... More

My wife and I celebrated our first meeting anniversary at Colington Cafe and had an excellent experience. It was "Restaurant Week" on the OBX, so there were several multi course specials. We enjoyed all aspects of our celebration dinner, all of which was priced reasonably. The wine list is prertty good in terms of selection, but very good in terms... More

It's been a while since we traveled over to Colington Cafe, but during Restaurant Week we had a chance to sample their 3 course menu and it was wonderful. The place has a very French decor and the food matches this standard. Indeed all the daily specials and the regular menu look interesting. They provided a generous selection & let... More

After getting married at sunset on Roanoke Island, my bride and wedding party had a fantastic meal at the Colington Café. We were treated with joy and given amazing service. The food was outstanding, with the whole range of entrees from seafood to steaks. Dessert was just as good. This little place was the perfect way to cap off a... More
