First of all any first class restaurant that is still around after 23 years has to be good It is a former house and each room is set up as a dining room. The room we were in had only six tables (20 people max) so it was quiet and we could hear each other talk. Tastefully decorated. Our waiter... More

We dine at the Colington Cafe approx. 3-5 times a year and we love everything about the restaurant. The food has always been great. The setting and decor is beautiful. It's a "must stop" recommendation for all our family and friends.

I've reviewed this place before, but sometimes you just have to tell somebody how good something is. Tonight I had one of the specials. The Collington Café is not on the main drag, you have to look for it, but when you find it you find a little slice of heaven. The food is excellent as is the pricing. the wait staff are courteous, friendly and knowledgable, and the wine list is superb. A great dining experience

The Colington Cafe is off the beaten path, so you have to look for it, but the search is very worthwhile. The Cafe is in a large old house, so it has a feeling of being at home and also has spaces where you can have some privacy if you want. The service is so friendly and efficient and the... More

When we visit the Outer Banks for 3-4 days we have dinner at the Colington Cafe at least twice. We have been dining at this wonderful restaurant for years and it still has the original owners. The owners are great people and the staff is very professional and personable. The menu has a wide selection and everything is prepared well... More
