Great food you cannot miss. Was fortunate to spend time talking with the owner as she worked as hostess in the front before dinner. Super nice person. We had a short 5 min wait from our reservation time. Visited their new gift shop. Food was excellent. Wine was reasonably priced. I'd go back again anytime.

Built in an old victorian house, Colington Cafe has immense charm and class. Many small rooms allow you to enjoy a private dinning experience almost any where. Upstairs can accommodate larger parties. French/Beach Cuisine at a great price. Wine is extremely affordable. The owners Carlen and Ken work almost every night and add a great personal touch to the Cafe.... More

During our annual sisters week in kill devil hills we always make sure we visit the Colington Inn for dinner. It's a small house converted into a quaint restaurant with amazing food. It's always crowded so reservations are a must. The food, atmosphere & staff are definitely worth the price. Fantastic!!

We dined here on Father's Day. The place was full and we showed up without a reservation but got seated within 25 minutes. The lady that seated us was very nice and turned out To be the owner. We started with a crisp Caesar salad that was lightly dressed and just right and a wonderful bowl of crab soup. My... More

This was the 1 place in OBX I couldn't wait to try. The wait was worth it (they do take reservations and the outside was lovely). There are a lot of choices on the menu ranging from shrimp and scallops to filet and the most amazing sherried pork you'll ever have. Highly recommend this.

Dinner was phenomenal! Staff was knowledgeable and prompt. I would recommend for a family celebration or just a nice dinner away from the beach traffic. Reservations came in handy! Also, a great value…appetizers, wine, dinner and dessert for just at $100!

We chose this quaint spot for it was a quiet relaxing place to have our birthday celebration. There were 5 in our party seated upstairs and our waitress was the best! Everyone enjoyed their food, salads were fresh and huge, entrees were attractive and delicious. We met around 5:30 and never felt rushed thru the meal. We indulged in desserts... More
