The pancakes are made to order however you want them. All breakfast foods available. Waffles, sausage, grits 2 ways, bacon, eggs. Cafeteria style but they bring you your food after you order at the counter. Our family was satisfied.

It was crowded and self serve - the food was like any other restaurant that prepares food in advance - lousy ! Will not be returning - I don't understand the people that rate this place high - Evidently they have very low standards when it comes to Breakfast food. The interior is old and dinghy. Not very welcoming at... More

This might be my fault for ordering something other than pancakes at a place with the word "pancakes" in the name. That being said, I wasn't overly impressed. My wife & I both had omelets (ham & cheese for me, mushroom & cheese for her). Both of these were rather average. The sides were not overwhelming by any stretch, either.... More

The food is equal to military or hospital food but the servers are friendly and make sure your coffee cup stays full. Discounts for children and seniors. Pancake batter must have been made a lot earlier because pancakes were more tough than fluffy. Cheap tasting syrup and the big dollop of fake butter. Better food at other OBX places like... More

Not your typical pancake house - you order first and then they bring you your food. This one was very well run and lots of people to help if needed. Very friendly and great food.

Great breakfast... that should cover about 95% of what you need to know. The ordering process isn't that weird. Grab a tray, grab your drinks/fruit bowls, etc., look at the overhead menus to decide what you want, then place order at the end. You get a number, find yourself a table and get the food brought to you. Would love... More

We have 4 kids, age 4 to 17.. We each had something different, but it was all delicious! The staff is very helpful when you get there- the first question was "have you been here before?" Very appreciated, since their menu is extensive. We love breakfast food, and certainly weren't disappointed!!!

Husband and I ate here on our last day in OBX and we enjoyed it all. Great food. Great service, Great atmosphere. I really like all the sayings written on the walls. Perfect for reading while waiting for your order. Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and sausage egg cheese biscuit were all yummy. Keep up the good work. We'll be back..

First time visit. We weren't sure what to expect when we walked in. The staff all stopped to greet us and explained the process. It began cafeteria style and ended at a table with the waitstaff bringing us our order. They were attentive and the food was good! Definitely recommend this place.

Our last day at the outer banks and we topped it off with this great breakfast place called stackem high. They were really busy but the line went smooth . No problem finding a seat. My wife and I ordered the French toast and kids ordered the pancakes. The food came out nice looking and it was hot!!!. The only... More
