Went with family. Appetizers (cheesesteak egg roll sumptuous), each of our dinners, key lime pie and apple crisp deserts delicious and staff was just superb. Expect a wait but wait times were true.

Pros: - The food was excellent! My family and I wanted to try the fish and crab cakes that make KDG so popular, and they didn't disappoint. We got the fish sandwich that was local tailfish as well as the crab cake sandwich. Both were awesome! The fries were good, too, but maybe a tad too salty. Otherwise, no complaints.... More

Don't let the small Diner out front fool you. There is an attached building on the back that seats anyone not wanting to sit in the diner. The Mahi sandwich was great. Our group had Salmon burgers, Royale burgers and key lime pie. Everyone was pleased. This is a good restaurant to take the kids and is family friendly. The... More

Such good food! The wait staff is awesome! Mike, Mitzi, Liz, all of these people make going to the Kill Devil Grill so much fun. Not to mention Mike is very easy on the eyes too.lol. Reasonable prices, and great daily specials. Small dining room, so better for parities under 6 people. A must go for sure.

We are a family of five. Usually someone ends up with a so-so meal. Not here! Deserts were fantastic too! Service was great! The wings are a signature appetizer, but you could make a meal of them. Definitely a favorite that we will share with all!

I ate at the bar here and was really impressed! Both bar staff were extremely attentive throughout the meal. I got the crab cakes which were delicious. My girlfriend got the half rack of ribs which were really good too. I'd highly recommend this place for food that's a notch above the average diner.

We go to eat at this restaurant every year. We love cheese steak egg rolls, grilled chicken with mash potatoes. This year, i didn't get half chicken but i got tuna dish. It was so yummy. I recommend this restaurant.

Went here Wednesday night at 9. They were sold out of most specials but that was ok because we're not big on seafood. Had the grilled chicken with veggies and angel hair pasta on a butter cream sauce. It was delicious! The chicken was moist and flavorful. The noodles were seasoned perfectly and the veggies were zucchini, squash, peppers, tomatoes.... More

Upon Trip Advisor review my wife and I went to Kill Devil Grill for lunch. It was soooo good! We both had the lunch specials, grilled chicken salad for my wife and grilled tuna over mashed potatoes with heirloom tomato salad for me. Both were amazing as was our server, Nicole. Yes the place is noisy, the parking log is... More

I wrote a previous unfavorable review of this restaurant because of their lack of carry out when they are busy and not advertising it. After making it to the restaurant, I found out why it is so highly reviewed. It is possibly the best restaurant in the outer banks for seafood and non seafood lovers. Like any OBX fan favorite,...
