Arrived Thursday & planned to eat at Carolina Seafood Friday evening. As we approached, we were shocked to find the sign outside one of our favorite restaurants changed to "Baldies Burgers"! Thought my husband was going to cry. Went to Captain Georges & were very pleased with the variety & quality of food. Guess we've found our new "favorite".

This place was such a frustrating disappointment! Took the family (husband and 2 kids) and were so excited to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. When the food was brought by the manager she insisted my daughter ordered the wrong food which had to be why the order was wrong, not true, what kid orders broccoli over fries?! My... More

They did have a nice selection of different dishes but the food was not fresh and was kinda cold. When we were leaving the lady at the register mocked and made fun of the way i pronounced a city there in NC and then when she found out we were from KY, she mocked and made fun of a girl... More

The owner and staff are nice enough, but lets face it. The food just isn't good. It is NOT fresh local seafood, and this is evident after looking at the menu and eyeballing the buffet.

Carolina Seafood is my favorite seafood buffet restaurant on the OBX. Fresh steamed crablegs, spiced steamed shrimp, scallops & fried & broiled local catch filets featured daily. Lobster tail included on buffet from 3:30 to 4:30 daily. Steamer round of prime rib a new addition this summer. Big salad bar and plenty of land lubber courses also available, w/ fresh... More

When we ate at Carolina Seafood, we were very disappointed. We thought the price was ridiculous for the quality of food which was mediocre and bland. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this tourist trap.

Carolina seafood buffet is worth the price, they have it all. Any kind of seafood you want, you can get it. It was fresh and plenty of it. They also have a regular menu if you don't want the buffet. The menu is also very good and the prices are very comparable to other restaurants in the area. We had... More

The outside may fool you, but the inside will please you. Great friendly staff with wonderful seafood. True, the crablegs aren't OBX caught, however they offer fresh caught local seafood including tuna, dolphin(mahi), swordfish, grouper, shark, clams, blue crabs, etc. Set in a pirate theme, it gets fun and informative with the kids. Go early as softshell crabs are on... More

My party of 5 recently visited this place after 7pm. For $28.95....I could have gotten better seafood at McDonalds with a fish fillet sandwich. Buffet food was old and not fresh. Clams that are ordered from kitchen came out old and over cooked. My wife is a vegitarian and had a plate full of salad up until the wait staff... More
