Excellent Dinner

My husband and I have at dinner at the Port O' Call at least once every trip to OBX. While it can be a bit pricey, the quality of the food and service are worth it. My husband loves the crab legs, while I usually go for the prime rib. Looking forward to our visit in May.

Rude staff, management horrible, food depending on what u eat, very pricey, all portions. Drink forget it, $17.50 two drinks. We been comning down to outer banks for 30 plus yrs third try here, just as bad as first. If there were no where to go for new years or any other occasion, we'd stay home, u will go broke... More

It is expensive, but the food was the best I have had all year. Excellent. Not sure what you are forcing me to say extra stuff. The food was great.

I ordered prime rib and it was some of the best beef I've had. Side items were appealing. Another guest ordered seafood and said that was also some of the best she has had. Even though we were full the deserts were so appealing that we pushed beyond our limit and enjoyed that as well. I would definitely recommend this... More

I cannot recommend this restaurant For a pricey place the food was not very good. They need a new cook. We were promptly seated and the service was generally good although we had to ask for bread plates as they were not on the table when we were seated. I ordered the catch of the day - Grouper with mustard... More

First of all the atmosphere was perfect. It was clean with nice furnishings, art and lighting. Our server was very accommodating and attentive. Three of us had the Prime Rib which was excellent. One had stuffed flounder with crab meat which was very good. The mashed potatoes were delicious and succotash was the vegetable of the day which is an... More

was good however portions were very small for the price. Some of the food looked like it came out of the frozen food section in the supper market

Several of our orders were not right. We did not get the right sides and one person did not get the right meal. We were told we were getting 3 checks and only received two. We enjoyed the restaurant last year and were disappointed this year. We will probably not go back next year.

My family and I dined here for the first time while vacationing in this area. The dining area was huge and well appointed. The staff was prompt and friendly. The food was the best I've had in this area. Our entrees were perfectly prepared. Desserts were phenomenal. I'm sure we'll return here before leaving the Outer Banks.

Our last night in Kill Devil Hills we went to Port O'Call. I had the seafood combo and my husband had the stuffed flounder. The food was outstanding and the server, Melissa, was excellent. Had a very nice evening: no crowds, no waiting, food was hot and service was fast.
