So glad we had the opportunity to eat at Food Dudes. Mahi Mahi dish was huge and delicious. Was pleasantly surprised at the serving portion. Only wish it came with a vegetable. Ordered a salad which was fine. My partner enjoyed her vegetable quesadilla. Neat artwork for sale, too.

We visited today for lunch based on TA reviews. We found tempting selections from their menu, Sunday brunch menu and the daily specials. We opted for the Blackened Mahi Mahi daily special and were not disappointed. Seating is limited and decor eclectic. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. Highly recommended for casual dining with great food.

Really liked this place and can't wait to go back. I had the Mac and Cheese which had a blend of cheeses and was sprinkled with cheese itz . The waffle fries were perfectly seasoned, I didn't need to add anything to them.

We stopped her on our first night in Nags Head and were completely blown away. My husband had the crab cakes, which are his favorite, and he said they were the best he's ever had. I had the special which was Tuna, and was in total disbelief when they put the plate down. Three Giant tuna steaks (and only $20)!... More

Great fish tacos on our last visit. They'll give Kill Devil Grill a run for their money pretty soon.

This is a great hole-in-the wall restaurant. There's a eclectic selection of food fo such a small place and the service was excellent. It's very casual and there are only about 8 tables. A good selection of bottled local and craft beer, but I had the $2 PBR. My wife had a local white beer that was very tasty. The... More

A small (okay, very small) establishment with unique beach/surf-inspired decor. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. The food was definitely homemade with fresh ingredients, and the portions were generous. Shrimp and Grits and Fresh Fish Tostada were good, the Shrimp Spring Rolls and Southwestern Chicken Corn Chowder were great. The... More

My friends and I dropped in for lunch on a weekday recently. This is a small, casual place located in a small strip mall. Food Dudes has a nice selection of local brewery beers and daily specials. I chose the mahi-mahi fish tacos, and boy, they were delicious! My friend ordered the blackened tuna wrap, and the fish was cooked... More

I'm really digging this place, and I'll make it a point to come back on these legendary taco nights! I met a friend for brunch, and I'd never had eggs benedict before, but I gave them a shot with lump crab. YUM! It's my new favorite! Sweet potato and ham biscuits with apple butter were fabulous. I'll be back!

Food Dudes was recommended to us by family member who spends a lot of time in the area. We have eaten there twice this week. Both the crab cake salad and the blackened mahi mahi with a grits cake were delicious! On Thursday, we arrived promptly at 5:00 for taco night. Surprisingly, the grilled fish taco was much better than... More
