we wanted a lot of seafood on this trip and this place filled the bill...the buffet could not have been better. we felt alittle out of place when we first went in because we thought we were underdressed...it looks pretty fancy ,,but most all the patrons were dressed casual and we fit right in.

We can't eat $32 worth of food, cost of the buffet, so we ordered from the menu. The food was very good and plentiful. Our server was friendly and professional. Menu prices were very reasonable. Good variety of foods on menu.

We were torn on which restaurant to go to for good quality seafood. Several were recommended. We originally had intended to go to Jimmy's Seafood Buffet but they were closed so we went back to Captain Georges and how happy we are that we did.. Yes, the buffet is smaller at this Captain Georges than at the one at home... More

This is an average buffet but the seafood was good. The stations were clean and they re-stock constantly. They had plenty of crab legs and shrimp and they were delicious. If you like seafood this is worth the cost. The pecan pie and banana bread pudding were outstanding on the desert line. Overall a good spot. The cost for two... More

The buffet was delicious, and there were also menu items for those who chose not to eat at the buffet. There were many choices at the buffet and all were very good. It was a bit pricey, but you could easily eat your worth in crab legs which were yummy!

I went to this place for the buffet. However, it was $32. I realized I might as well order a la carte as I don't eat much. In the end I ordered the salmon... they brought a huge chunk, must have been about a pound! It was very well cooked and the sides were delicious as well. I ended up... More

OK, to be honest we were here because of my husband. Being of small stature and not fond of crab legs, there is no way that I can eat $32 worth of food on a buffet at one meal. But he can eat that much in crab legs alone, which, by the way, he reported were excellent. They must have... More

We have eaten at Georges a few times, at both the Virginia Beach and Nags head, this was the first time I have been actually disappointed. Knowing the price of this buffet, I pre-purchased a $60.00 gift card online before our trip, we went on Sunday afternoon during the Early-Bird time, to get the better price-- we spent the whole... This place is great! The buffet was constantly stocked with all kinds of food, ranging from chicken to various kinds of seafood. There is a dessert table that has a huge selection of cookies, pies, cakes, etc. The service was excellent. Be sure to go with a good appetite! It is a little pricey but well worth the price.
