Great crab legs on the buffet..........

We wanted crab legs, so this is where everyone goes if you want all you can eat. The legs were constantly being filled, and always hot. They had a big variety of seafood choices, but the crab legs were what we came for. The price was $27pp, $5 off the regular price, being off-season. The place was... read more

My mom and I recently ate here on our beach trip. There was plenty to choose from, but all I had was crab legs with the exception of trying a few things that I hadn't had before. While it was delicious, I can't even imagine what it's like during the regular season because we went in January and it still... More

You can definitely get your money's worth here per plate. I mean, so much great seafood choices. All they are missing on the buffet is lobster :-)

They have a good seafood bar but we came for the all-you-can eat crab legs which comes with the seafood bar. The crab legs were great, they kept the tray full of hot legs and you didn't have to search for large legs. They were not over cooked or over salted. The fried oysters were great but the shrimp on... We were looking for a steak and we were getting anxious driving on the dark, dark Croatan Highway on a very dark January night. (How hard would it be for the town to put up some streetlights in this happening town?) We saw Captain George's and we decided to change our target to seafood. When we got into the restaurant... Full Disclosure: 4 of us went ONCE to Capt G's to try out the Seafood Buffet ... but when we took a look at it and what it would cost ... and knowing the Kitty Hawk-Kill Devil Hills-Nags Head-Manteo restaurants very well (we live here!) ... we passed it by and just had a few glasses of wine at the... We visited here on January 1st and had the best seafood buffet that I habe ever seen or tasted. Yes it is a little expensive but great food and quality. We will visit them again. Maybe the one in South Carolina or Virginia next. Yum Yum Loved it

We had been to Captain George's in Virginia Beach a few years ago and when we noticed one here decided to try it. Our server said it was $27pp until mid March as this is off season for the Outer Banks. I don't know what the regular price is. We really enjoyed the raw oysters and the cooked ones were... More

We stopped here simply because we had a gift card for the restaurant. The night of our visit the buffet price quoted was $27 per person. Even though there were other items on the buffet, I felt there was no way possible I could eat enough to get what I would be paying for since I am very limited in... More
