My husband and I recently visited Pegg House Tea Room which is located in an quaint old house. Each room provides a cozy, at home by the fire, type of feeling. My husband commented that he was aware that he was the only male in the place, but didn't care because the experience was wonderful. We felt the experience and... More

My girls (3 and 5) love the idea of a tea party. We have been here several times for this, and it is adorable, but the wait can be long, even if reservations are made. Today I called for reservations since we knew were taking a 3, 5 and 7 yr old. I let them know ahead of time we... More

The food was great, and consistent. We visited in Sept. 2014 (made phone reservation) and had the chicken pie meal with the salad - so good! For dessert, we had both the lemon cake and the strawberry cake - absolutely delicious. Such great flavors of the lemon and strawberry, not artificial tasting. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was... More

As I said " so long " to a dear friend that is moving away, I wanted a quiet setting for lunch. The tea room is that special place. The tables are covered in white cloth, with a beautiful lamp on the table and a crystal sugar bowl. We ordered a pot of tea and autumn garden salad. The salad... More

I've been here a few times and it's absolutely adorable. It also has delicious food & tea. You have to try the scones as well!

What a plelasure I had dining here. There are 3 seperate tea rooms each beautifully decorated. The staff is oh so friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. The broccolli quiche was very enjoyable and the fruit was very fresh. We had the passion fruit and mango tea which was very light. The restaurant is now open Sundays but... More

I'm a frequent visitor to The Pegg House. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxing. It can be busy so if you want to guarantee to be able to enjoy a meal I would recommend a reservation especially if you are arriving around noon or later. One note, if you are planning on having their tea, reservations are required. Also, as... More

Love, love, love this quaint little place. You can't beat the food for lunch!! The strawberry cake is the best cake I have ever had! Chicken pie is to die for and the sandwiches and salads are fabulous. It is in an old house so it is very cute! I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!

This is a local favorite eatery, particularly for girls' get togethers. The food is always, always good but the service can be amazingly horrible on occasion. We were there recently at 11:00 AM and left almost two hours later, not because we wanted to linger but because it took that long to be waited on, get our beverages, order our... More

Took a friend of mine to Pegg House to celebrate her birthday. It was our first visit. I purchased the "Tea for 2" deal from Groupon, and it was a treat! Our main course was brought out on a tiered glass server, and we dove in and enjoyed some of the tastiest & dainties finger foods I've ever seen. The... More
