Good southern cuisine with a twist

My husband and I have had Sunday Brunch here twice recently. The food was good on both occasions. The service was lacking a bit the first time around, but we decided to give them another try. I must say our service today was excellent. My husband had the breakfast platter with bacon, eggs, hash... read more

This restaurant is unique in it's menu and variety but I'm never disappointed. Have had a salad, a sandwich, a burger; everything has been delicious!! They change their menu fairly regularly also, which is nice because everything is in season. Great for couples, families or a fun night out (full bar too!) We've even reserved the back room for a... I must say, after finding this location that I was pleasantly surprised. We went for a birthday celebration as a party of 6. I had the chicken fried tenderloin w/ gravy, grit cakes and mac n cheese. I was pleasantly surprised how good this meal was. Simple yet quite tasty. And the sawmill grit cakes were to die for. Also,... More

The menu is perfect size, just enough for a good variety without getting carried away. The food is mainly aimed at great southern cooking but with a kick. The service is great and the bar is always a welcome place with great bartenders.

Had Sunday Brunch there today. We waited for a bout 45 minutes for our orders to be fixed. When they came my hash browns were served in a small cast iron skillet that was totally cold. I had also ordered grits and I didn't know what they were when I got them. Don't think I'll be going back

I liked it, but didn't love it. Had a pasta salad & my daughter had a Cuban sandwich. Both were fine. Our server was very nice and attentive.

Just yuck! The eggs Benedict at Sunday were like hard boiled eggs. Sugary collard greens and tough green beans...seriously not good food at all...such a disappointment ! Even the service was lacking and it was not busy!

Really was hoping this was going to be "the" place to eat in Kernersville. The food is lacking in flavor. Just average. Serve and atmosphere is great. Prices ok. Probably will not be back after 3 trips.

The descriptions of the food on the menu will make you want to try several different things, but I've been three times since their opening and I haven't had anything that stands out as something that I would tell someone they must go there and try. It's okay. But for the price, okay isn't okay. The service has been consistently... More

This restaurant has so much potential and should easily best its competitors in this small town but it consistently comes up short. The food and presentation show lack of interest from the kitchen despite a recent makeover of the menu. Service can be very inconsistent as noted by other reviewers. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and try one... More
