The Old Siam is the best Thai restaurant in Jacksonville so far. They have a huge selection to choose from, my favorite being their curries or pad pak dishes. Their menu has a section to describe some of the vegetables and herbs used in their dishes as well as gluten free options. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, they... More

I have visited other Thai restaurants in Wilmington, Atlanta and Miami but none compare to Old Siam. The location is not the best, but indoors the place is nicely decorated. Their food is hearty and authentic. I have tried just about every item on their menu. Recommend the Kao Pad Rammit? It's a Thai version of a fried rice that... More

My fiancé lived in Thailand for 4 years and said this is one of the best places he's found for Thai food. Service is always excellent and food is always outstanding

I went on a Friday night and expected the place to be crowded. It wasn't but since I was the only Caucasian in the place and the staff was friendly, I stayed and ate. Service was good and food was excellent. I don't understand why they didn't have more business. Many Asian diners were ordering 4 or 5 courses from... More

We have lived in Jacksonville for many years. We hosted a Thai exchange student for a school year. We cautiously decided to try the food here. The outside of the building doesn't do it justice. It is some of the best cooking in Jville. The restaurant is very clean and decorated nicely. My children and Love the tom yum gai... More

First, this is one of the only non-chain restaurants in town, so kudos for that fact alone. They had an excellent variety of offerings and the decor was nice. It was not too busy for a Saturday night. Perhaps I am a luddite, but when I was seated they gave me a remote button thing to push when I was... More

If you are looking for something with lots of flavor and reasonable [riced, you should check out Old Siam. The portions are perfect and the vegetable soup is excellent!

We make the trip to Jacksonville, and now Morehead City too, about twice a month. Can't live without this place. It's truly a treat. The service is awesome in Jacksonville. Tom Ka Gai soup is very special to my heart.
