I have been eating at Ducks for the past six years while traveling to Camp Lejeune on business. They have NEVER disappointed. When anyone visits Jacksonville, NC and asks me for a recommendation I always tell them Ducks. The food is outstanding (and diverse) and the atmosphere I amazing. They honestly have the perfect setup. They have a two full... More

Stopped in for lunch after reading other reviews, and were very pleasantly surprised. Inside the atmosphere was Upscale and delightful. Food was delicious, and the service fast and friendly. This proved to be a real find, and we will definitely go back, next time for an evening meal.

We went here from a recommendation from the hotel we stayed at. Being from out of town I wanted to try a different restaurant that was not a chain. Everything was delicious. Probably on the pricier side but worth your money.

We were in town for business and found this place while looking for another restaurant. Turning around to head back to Ducks was the best decision we made! The food is amazing (I had grilled tuna, cheesy grits, and asparagus and then ordered the exact same thing when we were in town a few weeks later!). My colleagues ordered duck... More

Ducks was recommended by the local craft beer store/bottle shop. Boy were we surprised, not only did they have wonderful craft beer on draft (in frosty mugs!!), but the lunch specials were fabulous. We sat outdoors on a sunny Friday afternoon and it was just perfect. Great atmosphere and service. Both of our lunches were GREAT and look forward to... More

Looked like a hole in the wall from the outside but the inside was unique and the food was delicious. Enjoyed brunch with mimosas that really packed a punch. Will be back

I read all reviews and was excited to have a business lunch at Ducks for the first time. I ordered a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries were good but the sandwich was average at best. I was disappointed that the bread for the sandwich was two pieces of wonder bread. Really? I expected a flavorful bun and... More

The food is always good and just the right atmosphere to take a family or just two people. Have a regular table and the service is excellent, too. It is a wonderful local place not a chain. You always run in to people you know giving that neighborhood feel.

This is a town that is entirely populated by drab chain restaurants and very low end mom & Pops catering to the young Marines on the base who want high volumes of cheap food…. not quite a foodie's town but this place is a real find… and ya gotta find it it's in a run down small shopping center but...
