Service was amazing and the food was out fast and tasted great. Best kept secret in Jacksonville. Bob Has still got it. He talks to everyone and makes you feel like a regular. Beer was cold too. Give it a shot you won't be disappointed and if You are, Bobs there let him know.

Have eaten here several times over the years. Food is always prompt and fresh. Servers friendly, and attentive. Recently our HS class hosted our casual get together here. Plenty of space for this kind of gathering. Food once again excellent and well received, and the wait staff were friendly and gracious even keeping up with our large crowd. Casual atmosphere... Was NOT pleased with this restaurant at all! I had read reviews which I should have taken their advice and not go their but we tried it anyways. Our table was dirty so I asked them to wipe it down, she did in one tiny circle not the entire table when there was 4 of us. Then it took around... More

When you drive up to the Marina Cafe it looks run down, don't let that fool you it is great. The service is top notch, the food is awesome, the crab dip is worth going in just for that. You can sit on the deck or even take a boat ride. Yes it is run down, but one of the... More

4 of us went to marina cafe in Jacksonville nc tonight and checked reviews before we went. Reviews were all over the place so went in with an open mind. Seating was immediate and when it got chilly we went from the deck to inside without any problems. Appetizers were the crap dip and onion rings. Crab dip was very... More

The seafood was very good and the prices reasonable. Close to where we stayed. It's a small place but everyone was friendly.

Marina Cafe is a welcome change of pace in Jacksonville which is home to almost every restaurant chain imaginable but has few local home-town restaurants. Marina Cafe offers an interesting menu of casual Southern-style seafood items as well as more standard fare (hamburgers, sandwiches, etc.). Their hot crab dip is very good; an excellent starter. The fried flounder sandwich is... More

An AWESOME experience!!! My family chartered the Marina Cafe cruise boat on a weekday evening in June. We took a two hour trip which went from their dock to a little past the Air Station before we turned around for the ride back. At the mid-way point the Captain cut the engines and allowed us to put our father's ashes... More

No FRESH SEAFOOD??? And this place has outdoor seating on THE WATER! We ordered crab dip and calamari and let me tell u it was by far the worst seafood I've ever had. The calamari was nuked in the microwave and the crab dip tasted like sweet tuna fish. After 1 bite from me and my husband we looked at... More
