Waitress was not very friendly. She said she was "helping out for the evening". Wine selected not available. Not too helpful with alternative wine selection. Veal selected was VERY good! Quantity was VERY good. Nice place to eat as it is in a old homestead and it had "character".

We recently celebrated our younger daughter's birthday at Mama Mia Too in Huntersville, NC. This charming restaurant is located on the main drag in a renovated mansion. We were seated in a perfectly sized room for diner and enjoyed both great service and exceptional Italian food. My veal saltimbocca was a perfect combination of tender veal, cheese and prosciutto over... More

We shared an excellent dinner with friends on a Sunday evening. Perfect all the way around for an unhurried dining experience. Our party of ten enjoyed every bite of the pasta dishes along with outstanding veal in port wine sauce and tilapia piccata. The service was flawless and owner/chef Ralph came tableside to greet both old and new patrons. This... More

The setting is an old home and it is quiet, cozy and really terific service and fantastic food. I... More

We found this place by accident and have been driving over an hour to return whenever we want authentic, superb Italian fare and top notch service. The setting is very quaint and Ralph, the owner/chef will sometimes make the rounds to tables to make sure the food is good (it's not, it is superb!). Our favorite is lobster ravioli in... More

Historical house with lots of cozy tables. I have been coming here for years and find the food consistently good. Mussels Vino Bianca the best around. Chef/Owner Ralph is always on sight and will meet any request. Wine list is limited, but wisely selected. It's worth a visit to this one of a kind restaurant.

This small restaurant accomodated our group of 30 on a Saturday night. The food was excellent and the staff made every effort to see that we were happy. They are on the east side of I-77 away from the newer dining areas, but worth the effort to find it (only about 1 mile from the interstate).

The shrimp over pasta with Vodka Sauce from this little restaurant in Huntersville NC was about as good as I have ever tasted it -- as good as or better than any I have had in Italian-America restaurants in the Northeast! Only reason this review is not "excellent" is we dined in a large group and it was a bit... More

After years of bitter disappoinment with Italian restaurants in and around CLT, I can now claim that there is at least one now where I can actually look forward to a quality Italian dining experience. My experiences to date have been of 2 types, either absolutely (1)Bland & Blah or the other extreme (2) garlic by the pound. Trying to... More

An ok place for uninspired and unoriginal Italian. Ok sauces, veal piccata was sorta thrown on the plate w/ large amount of spinach underneath. Side of pasta w/ meat sauce again standard fare. Numerous repeat customers so choices for Italian must be limited there.
