I was craving a steak the other night, a good steak, not from a chain and it was too late to go to our usual place. So we decided on Mickey & Mooch and I'm glad we did. We've been to M & M several times, usually for friends birthdays or business dinners but this was our first meal as... More

While visiting in Huntersville, NC wanted a restaurant close to the hotel which we were staying at. Mickey & Mooch was across a four lane highway from the Holiday Inn and was convenient. I thought at first that it would be within walking distance, but no. Crossing those lanes would be tricky. The restaurant itself is very nice, has a... More

First time at M&M and was very surprised. Not the location that one would expect for such a nice restaurant. Reasonably priced and the Crab Entree if you like jumbo lump crab is out of sight. Service and ambiance very nice. We will be back as soon as possible!

My wife and I dropped by Mickey & Mooch for an early dinner last night. As usual, the food was really good. But that's about where the 'really good' stopped. Presentation has unfortunately gone way downhill, and the service has also slipped considerably. Now this doesn't mean Mickey & Mooch is not still a good dining experience. It is. It... More

After many long hours on the road from South Florida, we found ourselves at a hotel within walking distance of Mickey & Mooch. What a pleasant surprise! It being the first day of Charlotte's Restaurant Week and a Friday night, the placed was packed. But a friendly bartender, a glass of wine, and a really good live singer (I mean... More

Went for Queen's Feast so they were very busy for a Thursday night. Girls night out for a friend's birthday. Server was very nice and attentive. We had a large group so other servicers stepped in to help. First course had the blue cheese wedge - portion is huge which is plenty to split between 2 people. For dinner had... More

Went for my birthday with family during restaurant week! The choices for that menu were plentiful. I started with a wedge salad. I couldn't stop eating it. It melted in my mouth. For my entrée I chose the blackened grouper which was served on a bed of creamed spinach with a Champaign sauce. It was incredible. I also had loaded... More

Went disputing Queens week meaning $30 for 3 course meal. Food was very good with great flavor. Sides very large. The didn't skimp here like at some places. Went with a group and no one had a bad meal or experience. Definitely recommend.

This used to be THE premier restaurant in our area-- and the food is still pretty good; although they used to have a house salad that was so good with the hot bacon dressing--now you have to pay an "up-charge" for this...you can't even get the asparagus as a veggie without paying an up charge, and thus is after I... Impeccable dining and attentive service. Don't be fooled because it is not in Birkdale. Try the seared tuna app and the key lime pie dessert!
