Description: The Melting Pot, located in the Lake Norman area, is a unique place to celebrate the special occasions in your life. The Melting Pot opened in November of 2011, after previously being located in the University area since 2001. Our modern, cozy dining areas offer a romantic setting for date night or double date night. It's also fun to bring your kids, dress up and make a special night out of it. Our bar area offers a separate, more casual atmosphere for guests that may just want to drop in for cheese and chocolate or meet the ladies after work for a few martini specials. The Melting Pot specializes in private large party rooms for milestones, birthdays, ladies night out or work celebrations. Reserve your very own space to catch up with family over fondue or hold a fondue party without interruption. Our guests have contemporary tastes, are very active and know how to have a good time. We serve guests from Mooresville, Huntersville, Denver, Salisbury, Statesville, Concord, Davidson and surrounding areas. We are located in the heart of NASCAR Country, just a few miles from Charlotte Motor Speedway. We see our fair share of NASCAR Drivers with their families and NASCAR wives' enjoying ladies nights out! We are located right off of highway 77, exit 25, just minutes from Birkdale and Northcross Shopping Destinations. At the Melting Pot you can always count on phenomenal service through our expert servers, knowledgeable bartenders and our attentive managers. As for the fondue experience, well, you just have to try it for yourself. It's dinner and entertainment all stirred into one! While you can choose which courses you'd like, most guests indulge in our 4 course dinner including cheese, salad, entree and chocolate. Our creamy cheese fondues are prepared tableside. Each cheese is served with artisan breads and seasonal vegetables for dipping. Our fresh salads feature The Melting Pot's signature dressings. From Thai peanut marinated tofu to lobster to filet mignon, we've got an option for everyone. Customize your entree to your specific pallet, as entree items and seasonal vegetables are cooked at the table in one of our four premium cooking styles and a plethora of dipping sauces. For dessert, try one of our signature chocolates: Yin & Yang, Flaming Turtle or choose from many other delicious options. And don't forget our famous wine and garlic seasoning and signature chocolate covered strawberries to take home. Did you know that The Melting Pot is vegetarian friendly and gluten free friendly? All of our menus can be customized and our servers and kitchen staff are happy to cater to any dietary restrictions or allergies without missing a beat. The Melting Pot naturally offers many healthy and lower calorie options as well. Regardless of diet, we want all of our guests to indulge guilt free and have the perfect night out. Whether vegetarian, carnivore or somewhere in between, our wide variety of menu items will leave you happy and satisfied.

I love the Melting Pot. It is expensive but a total experience. We went tonight to celebrate 42 tears of marriage and have dinner with my brother, Scott, who recently moved here. We ordered the Four Course Meal and had a 3 1/4 hour fun dining experience. Our Server was fun and funny. He also informed us each step of... More

What a treat! Fondue at its finest! Make sure you make a reservation for this night out! We went for our anniversary and the staff made us feel so special (even say us in "lover's lane")!

I have several friends as well as family that just love this place, so we finally ended up going. And I'm not that impressed. Once you get passed the "spectacle" of the fondue, which of course isn't exactly an unexpected surprise, there isn't really much to it. Paul, our server/bartender, was very attentive and made sure we were well taken... More

We went to Melting Pot for Queen's Feast this year and it was our first time for fondue. We started with cheese fondue which came with fruit, bread and veggies. We then each had a small salad. Salad was good but on the very small side. Our meal then progressed to the mail course. We had the option of picking... More

A lot of changes to the menu have taken place since the last time I dined at the Melting Pot. The price has always been expensive, but now you may more by having to pay individually for entrees. They also removed cheesecake from the dessert dippers and cauliflower was replaced with tomatoes on the cheese dippers. Still a good restaurant,... More

My husband and I decided on The Melting Pot Lake Norman for a date night. We have been fans of the restaurant since 1996 (the downtown location). We hadn't been in awhile, so were surprised to find all the serving sizes had decreased in size. Even the dessert fondue tray was smaller than before. Fortunately, our server brought additional fruit... More

Charlotte Restaurant Week offers diners a wonderful opportunity to try high end restaurants at a fixed price of $30.00 dollars for a meal that offers an appetizer, main course, and dessert. This time we tried the Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant we had never been to before. It was a three hour eating adventure and a feast to the palate.... More

Wow - what a place - even though you cook your food yourself, the choices were many of what to choose and if you don't like it, you can only blame yourself since you cooked it. You have to go at least once.

This is becoming one of my favorite places to eat. We buy the four course meal and plan to stay 2-3 hours to dine. The first course is cheese and dunkers-we chose the 3 cheese dip for our dippers. The second course is a salad...different kinds and all tasting great. I had duck, shrimp, steak & pot stickers for the... More
