We moved here 12 years ago and until Weaver Street opened, we did most of our shopping in Chapel Hill or the Weaver Street in Carrboro.....just too many things we couldn't get here in town. Think of this as a local version of Whole Foods. They source as much from local providers as they can, including fresh NC seafood during the summer. Good fresh produce, bread, and local goods. Outdoor seating is great for a quick coffee and sandwich.

The grocery features many locally raised meats, cheeses and veggies, is clean, reasonably priced and friendly. Hillsborough is very fortunate to have Weaver Street here.

The breakfast hot bar is delicious, the catch is it closes at 11:00am so get up early! Coffee is awesome, salad bar and lunch bar are really good too, they also have sandwiches, sushi, wraps, dips, pretty much anything you could want, you can find it there. Not exactly cheap but veeery good.

We're happy to have a healthy but delicious grocery in Hillsborough. They have bulk spices that other stores don't have+there is usually some nice local produce and 2 local dairy options.

The local atmosphere is rootsy and folksy, which I like, plus, there is a great selection of organic and holistic products
