Not your average store

This is a great place to sample local items you don't normally find a the grocery store. Although pricey, if you have a child with food allergies it is a real treasure.

Great place to sample the offerings though quite pricey, located right downtown near the river walk, you would do better at Harris Teeters

Good breads and pastries? Yes! Good coffee? Yes! Good hot, traditional, Southern "comfort" food for breakfast? No! Multigrain pancakes are tough and taste like cardboard. All self serve items at the bar are too cold. And be prepared to pay a pretty penny for this mediocre food. That having been said, atmosphere is nice and the salad bar and lunch... More

What a nice little spot to take it easy among a lot of traffic and hustle and bustle. Lots of available parking, a nice boardwalk nearby with trees and a stream, great, clean healthy food, fun shopping for those special items. The interstate had an accident and was backup up for 45 minutes so we decided just to stop and... More

Lovely organic food and also a good take away hot bar and salads bar. We had the hot spicy chicken quarters back home with a box of salad. The chicken was very tender and tasty, especially the leg quarters. Nice outdoor covered seating area in warm weather, but the indoor seating is souless, brash, harshly lit and really lets the... Think along the lines as whole foods or something organic like that. I definitely use it if I want a gourmet or hard to find item but for the most part I avoid it as it is not my type of grocery bill.

Our Civitan group in Hillsborough, NC, meets occasionaly at Weaver Street Market. This is a "Co-Op" establishment. If you sign up to be part of the Co-Op, you will receive a discount at check out. The soups are home made and Take the chill off winter days. Jane H.

Weaver Street brings a bit of congestion to downtown Hillsborough, but with it comes a funky little co-op grocery with some interesting offbeat choices. Weaver Street offers the best selection of vitamins and dried herbs in the area as well as excellent prepared food and desserts.

If healthy food is what you have in mind or you have dietary issues, buy your meal here. This is not a restaurant, but the food available is comparable to what you would find at a Whole Foods market. Highly recommend. We bought vegetarian pot pies and salad.
