Wolfgang's is located on Main Street. Diners can eat inside or out and then food is first rate. I especially like the small bite choices (lamb chops, soups, Caesar salad, escargot, flat breads and much more!) Dinner menu always offers specials. Try the short ribs! Fresh fish available daily. Owner and his wife are on the premises and visit tables.... More

My wife's Aunt Peg lives on top of a mountain in Highlands, NC, a tourist Mecca in summer during our visit. She took us to Wolfgang's Restaurant & Wine Bistro where we dined like royalty. What a menu! We started with the best shrimp and lobster bisque this side of the Rockies. My wife and I had "A Trio of... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Highlands. The food and service is excellent. We have lived here for 27 years and it's the best

My wife and I have been vacationing in Highlands for about 15 years, and we've eaten at Wolfgang's just about every time. The menu offers quite a bit of variety, and for several years, I always ordered the horseradish encrusted tuna. That dish no longer is available on the regular menu, but it does show up occasionally as a special.... More

This was our first experience with Wolfgang's and we hope it will not be the last. We ate here on this occasion, based on recommendations from friends, reviews on Trip Advisor and the menu published on the website. This was a special occasion (anniversary) for us and management went out of their way to make sure that we were well-treated... More

Our experience started positively when we received a call from the restaurant reconfirming the reservation that we had made over a month before; offered us the option of seating on outside covered patio. Setting was lovely but the meal was a disappointment after all the raves we have read about the food at tWolfgang's. The Bavarian Sampler that was ordered... More

We had dinner here our last night in Highlands. The service was exceptionally friendly, and the food was delicious. There is nice quiet seating inside, and a more casual outdoor patio, which is where we sat. It was a cool night out (so cool that they had the patio heaters on - in August), and the patio was perfect. It... More

This is not our first visit to Wolfgangs. The food and service were excellent. Every dish we tried was great and the staff was very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. Hands down, it is one of the best in Highlands.

The crab cake on Lobster Cream sauce with pecan crusted shrimp is delicious. As a northerner, this is the only place I will eat grits. They are creamy and delicious, not at all like grits I had eaten previously. Others in our group enjoyed the Bavarian sampler which is a large portion of German wursts and schnitzel with red cabbage,... More
