Steps from our room.

Love the rustic look. Bartender Kendra was wonderful. Prime rib was excellent. Great table with a view. We were happy we chose the hotel and restaurant for or 4th wedding anniversary. Great time. Wonderful facility.

We had heard so many good things about the Sunday brunch that we made reservations, anticipating a nice after-church meal. The setting was lovely, and everything went well until we entered the front door. Two different young women asked if we had reservations. After giving them our name and reservation time, they hovered over a sheet of paper for a... More

We ate breakfast here twice and dinner once. Breakfasts were wonderful but dinner was out of this world! My husband had the maple glazed salmon and said it was superb. I wanted the fillet but the chef said they were out. He offered a New York strip for $12.00 less. This was the best steak I have eaten, cooked to perfection.... More

Not child friendly, besides pancakes not any items that are kid friendly. Our son ordered a bagel with the cream cheese and lox on the side, but it came with capers and onions on it.

We really have enjoyed the Skyline restaurant over the years, but the weekend brunch is the best value in Highlands bar none! For $20, unlimited mimosas, it is fantastic! If you are looking for a wonderful quiet mountain dining brunch, look no further! Enjoy this great spot!!

We dined with friends at this lovely restaurant on a rainy night. Our table of 6 ordered the prime rib with appetizers and soup. The crab stuffed mushrooms offered that night were out of this world delicious. The prime rib was very good with more than ample portions. The piano may be a bit loud, we had trouble hearing the... Sunday Brunch for my son, his wife and 15 month grandson. Met by hostess who escorted us to our table and timely met by our warm receptive waitress. We were served Mamosas and given menus to peruse. A high chair was set up for our grandson who was sleeping on his dad's shoulder. Caesar salads and hot bread were served.... More

We accidentally discovered Highlands NC several years ago while our exploring the area after a trade show. Our next trip up we decided to spend some extra time in Highlands and in our search for a place to stay found Skyline Lodge. The Architecture and history of this place is amazing, and worth the stay just to have that particular... More

I had to wait a few days to write this as I was That disappointed in one of our favorite places. It was Mother's Day. Two meals were offered--brunch for a couple hours and dinner/supper 4-8p. They changed their minds and offered the brunch right up to 4p. They were slammed. and totally unprepared for our 5pm sitting. It's a... More
