We have always enjoyed both the food and atmosphere. It is THE place in Highlands to catch a game and hear live music. The food is equally good.

There was nothing unique other than the name. Choices are limited on the menu. What we did order was very good. Service is slower than slow. Several different waitresses stopped by during our time there, all asked the same questions. It was obvious the locals have top priority over the visitors. There are a lot of good places to go... The food, service, atmosphere, and price was outstanding. This is now our favorite restaurant in the Highlands.

We went on a night they had live music and it was great and laid back. Go for a burger and spicy fries. Friendly staff and decent beer selection.

This place had good drinks and food. They are open on Sunday, too, which is a plus because it can be difficult to find places open on Sunday in the off-season. Lots of locals seem to hang out here and you are likely to see some clogging break out on the weekend nights. We will definitely come back next time... More

Well, we went there all 3 days of our visit to Highlands so we must have enjoyed it. They have very good pub food (try the appetizer sampler of hummus, pimento cheese, etc). If you want to see a particular sporting event they will make every effort to get it on a TV in front of you.

Great beer, food, entertainment, bartenders...loved it! The band on Saturday night rocked. The crowd was just the right amount of excited!

The Ugly Dog Pub is a pleasant stop for burgers or other type sandwiches. It is all you would want in a casual bar. Friendly people, good microbrews, a varied menu, and a cozy and attractive dining area. It is the kind of place that the locals will frequent often and visitors will be pleased that they found.

We always stop in here at the end of a shopping day in Highlands. Their beers are very good and very cold. They have a nice assortment of appetizers for a snack or you can eat a meal if you are that hungry.
