I don't understand all the rave reviews. Had breakfast here. Eggs decently prepared. Coffee OK. Order at the counter and sit in uncomfortable wooden booths to wait for food. Terrible lighting. Nice staff.

I had a good roast beef sandwich, actually grab the half unless you are really hungry the portions are generous! Seems to be a local favorite. Nice stop among the Highlands shopping stops.

If you don't eat here, you've lost your mind. The food is superb, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is laid back. The prices are right and won't break the bank. Eat here frequently and never disappointed.

Went to Highlands on a busy saturday during peack leaf season. My son spotted the Sports Page and we have a great lunch. The grilled chicken salad was delicious and a very generous portion. Sandwiches were delicious and location so clean especially on a very busy day. Looking forward to visiting again.

I enjoyed the food and thought the customer service was excellent. Our sandwiches were fresh and tasted very good. Nice, laid back atmosphere with a local feel. It is not as expensive as the other restaurants in the Highlands. I recommend and would go back.

We have always enjoyed the Sports Page! This deli is a MUST every time we travel to Highlands. The food is consistently good here, and the owner and staff are very friendly and professional. I just wish we had a Sports Page at home - I would be eating there every day!

We've eaten here many times and have found it to be a quick place for a good lunch. My husband loves their sandwiches and I always get a salad with grilled chicken on top! The theme of the place is golf which is lots of fun and creates a quirky atmosphere! Love it!

In Highlands for a couple of days, we were perusing the restaurant offerings. Hubby took an early morning walk and returned to say that the Sports Page's menu looked good, so we tried it for breakfast, and it was really good. I had the French toast with bacon, and he had eggs, grits, biscuits, etc., and we both nearly licked... More

Sports Page Is a great little walk in and order spot. We both enjoyed our breakfast. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. Give this Tarheel run joint a try for breakfast or lunch.

I'm sure all the menu items are good, but I eat the chicken salad every time; it is always delicious. Potato salad is wonderful, but not vegetarian. Had strawberry-rhubarb pie there once, but unfortunately it has not been available since; too bad!
