This was our second trip to the grocery and it did not disappoint. One of the best coffees on the planet. We had eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and grits. The whole wheat toast was excellent. Very convenient to Old Edwards and is our favorite breakfast spot while visiting. There are many locals here and the staff is very attentive. The wine... More

Normally, it is very busy but this day was not. My wife had tan egg and cheese biscuit and I had eggs, biscuit and gravy, hash browns and bacon. The food was quite good. We get biscuits here almost every time we come to Highlands.

A must stop in Highlands. Breakfast was great! The place is busy, so we had about a 25 min wait after ordering our food, but it was a pleasant experience. They also have a full bakery, lunch, and pizza kitchen.

My wife remembers the goat cheese from many previous visits and so it became a necessary stop on our trip. She was not disappointed and stocked up to bring a lot home. Some of the best we have had since our last trip to France.

Wonderfully quaint village charm finds one of its best eateries in with the groceries. A spacious store that boasts, a, deli style service in one side, daily menu specialty pick up in the Centre and an Italian Pizza, and, street fare on the opposite side. Especially great if you are staying for a day or two in one of the... More

We were able to walk to Mountain Fresh Grocery from the Old Edwards Inn. It has some really cool things in it, sort of like a small Whole Foods. We had breakfast there twice & went late so it was not crowded. I had a pecan Belgium waffle one day and an egg &cheese biscuit the next plus a pumpkin... More

We arrived about 1pm on a Saturday so be prepared to wait on food and a table. But even though they had higher prices than normal for the ambiance our food was worth the wait. French fries were crunchy outside and soft middle and seasoned perfectly. Hamburger was big on the beef, no skimping here. I tasted one bite of... More

We have come here for lunch every year we visit Highlands. It's always busy, but not too busy where you are waiting a long time. Probably the best inexpensive place to eat for lunch, but great food.

This place is just neat to walk around in and see all the stuff. They make different kinds of their own infused olive oils. As far as the restaurant, it is one of the only few places that serves breakfast. My husband got the apple french toast and said it was awful, he said it was like eating a dry... More

Wonderful pizza! Good selection for breakfast and lunch. Friendly staff. Relaxing to eat indoors or outside.
