My Husbands' Family has been in the Cashiers- Highlands Area since late 1940s' and I have been coming here for 17 years and have lived here for almost 2 yrs now. We chose to move to Highlands full time andI was excited that I was going to live in a town with an incredible Italian Resturant with wonderful ambiance with... More

The whole time I was dining at RP, I just couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't a converted funeral parlor. From initial seating through the evenings check, I couldn't wait to not be there anymore. But just like the grieving evening, there is a certain amount of required time that needs to be spent. The ambiance is crowded, impersonal,... More

In response to this review, it appears that we have a frustrated interior decorator masquerading for a seasoned and well-traveled gourmet, as he wants us all to believe. I question this diner's motives on eating out, to begin with while inaccurately and viciously describing our menu items and decor. This diner's viewpoint of our restaurant's atmosphere right from the onset... More

We go once a year--usually save it for special occasions. Only once did we have a bad experience when there were noisy toddlers at table next to us. Mgr responded to our concern, gave us a credit, & changed the restaurant's policy toward admitting children. They are very responsive. Great restaurant w/ excellent reputation.

This is our favorite restaurant in Highlands. We have dined here many times during it's 30 years in Highlands. The chicken picatta and the salmon were both the best we've ever had and the passion fruit sorbet sparkled in our mouths. The service was warm and welcoming. Cant wait to return.

We had a late reservation and showed up early as we had a toddler that was near meltdown. They had our table ready early and with a friendly greeting and stroller assistance. They made her a pasta right away and got us settled while one of the team fascinated our daughter by making her a rose out of a napkin.... More

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary by dining at Paoletti's and had a wonderful experience. The service was top notch and the food was exceptional. My husband had the Elk tenderloin special and I had the Grouper special. Our server recommended the Lobster Ravioli as an appetizer and it was superb! If you want a special dining experience then you... More

We have enjoyed dining at Paoletti's for many years. The experience has always been the same. The restaurant is so predictable and as a result, always at the top of our list. Every entree is delectable. Try the pork chop next time. The ambiance is fitting for a small seating capacity and for some reason, the noise is enjoyable, just... More

So, we went here for dinner one night, and were sadly disappointed. They have a salad with arugula and scallops on it, which is what two of the girls ordered. He showed up with an arugula salad with no scallops on it...when they flagged him down to tell him they wanted the arugula salad WITH scallops (which is another salad... More

We are sincerely sorry about any mix-up with this diner's Arugula Salad. As a matter of policy, we repeat each order back to the diner to alleviate any such mistaken orders. On this evening, we had only one Arugula Salad on the menu, contrary to what the reviewer states. There was a Scallop Appetizer offered that evening being served on... More

Highly recommended by friends who have a vacation home in Highlands. Busy, popular, but entertaining, robust menus, extensive wine list. Good place for a foodie and/or a wine snob. The menus choices of mouth watering entrees were extensive. Highly recommend it.
