My wife and I were in Highlands to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. We were looking for a nice restaurant. My wife does not like seafood, so Italian was a good option. I did choose Black Grouper which was excellent, and she chose an Italian dish. We split a House salad. Both meals were prepared very well, the wine was delicious.... More

We have visited Paoletti's as often as possible when we have been in the Cashiers/Highlands area for the past eight years. For starters, the dirty martini is the best, as is the hot bread with herb butter and olive tapenade or olive oil. The escargot are delicious, and so are the mussels. Salads are cold, fresh and crisp. Everything else... More

This is one of our favorites. My wife and I both had the Elk and it was fantastic. The bartender nailed the Grey Goose Martini. The waiter, Arthur was very attentive. As usual, Julio did a perfect job of pairing our Elk with a delicious red from Italy. (I think he has forgotten more about wine than I'll ever know.)... More

This restaurant certainly deserves it's #1 TripAdvisor rating - the food was awesome, starting with the warm, yummy bread. Then I had the Maine Lobster & Mushroom Ravioli, my husband had the Stuffed 1-1/4 Pound Maine Lobster, and we split the Arugula Salad. Our server was very helpful and close by whenever we had a need. Be sure to make... More

I hate to say we haven't been here in 10 years but it is still the same quality restaurant as it was in the past. We go to Highlands for special occasions and this was one of those times. The service was perfect, from our greeting to the very end. The warm bread, with the olive spread served, may be... More

We ate here on the last day of out honeymoon. It was very good. We were seated at a large table by the window. The service was prompt. The food was good. It was not very inventive or mind-blowing, but was good standard Italian. My pasta was a bit saucy. I will say they had an impressive and excellent wine... More

Our 3rd time to Highlands and a must for dinner! A small cozy restaurant downtown with a great staff. Julio was very pleasant and had great recommendations on the entrees and wine. The veal chop special was to die for and try a side of the fettuccini Alfredo. Can I just say yummy!!!

Service & food was good. It has been over 5 years since we were last here since we are 5 hours away. It was just as good or better as the last time we were here.

Husband & I tried this restaurant when spending a couple of days in Highlands. The service was superb and the meal was magnificent!! We had one of the specials. It was Maui Maui. The tossed garden salad with the delicious salad dressing started our meal with wonderful bread. Our fish was served upon a bed of mashed potatoes and grilled... More

We go to Paoletti's Restaurant every time we go to the Highlands from Atlanta. It is without a doubt our favorite Italian Restaurant. The food is superb, the setting offers ambience and the service is accommodating and outstanding.
