Experienced chef and owner translate to quality dining

Having heard favorable things, we went to lunch here recently. We learned that this owner operated a restaurant in Washington D.C. for many years, serving the Clintons, Reagan, and similar luminaries. After 9/11 , the family relocated to this area. From the outside, this restaurant is simply a... read more

I had lunch at Full Kee a few months ago, as I had heard the the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately, my lunch was very salty, and I decided at the time that I would not go again. Recently, a local newspaper rated Full Kee very highly, so I thought I would give it another go. My experience was mixed.... More

We learned that this owner operated a restaurant in Washington D.C. for many years, serving the Clintons, Reagan, and similar luminaries. After 9/11 , the family relocated to this area. My husband and I ate here for date night. Everyone talks about the price; however, I felt it was a reasonable price for the quality of the food. My husband got orange beef and I got sesame chicken. The pieces were large and more meat than breaking, a nice change from other Chinese restaurants. We will definitely be back. The... More

If you like bland, overpriced food, then this is the place for you. $18 for 5 pieces of unseasoned broccoli and 8 butterfly shrimp doused in Orange sauce is ridiculous. I dare to argue that the fried rice wasn't even fried - just white rice tossed in soy sauce. $60 for two tasteless dinners with water is the biggest ripoff.

We ate here a year ago, loved it. Tonight we didn't. The won ton soup had good won tons, but the broth was mediocre w/ way too many onions. Egg Drop soup was good, sweet & sour wasn't. The six entrees were across the board: 2 were great (garlic beef and orange duck), 2 were good, 2 (chicken dishes) were... More

I can't say enough about George, Sherry and their family! They have brought perfection to HP through their restaurant. Best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Before moving to HP, they owned a restaurant in Washington, DC which was voted year after year, "Best Chinese in DC." George & Sherry have served the White House, Capitol Hill, Top Military Officials... More

By far the best Chinese food I've ever had, but VERY pricey. Worth a visit if you can afford it. I hope it's around for a long time!

We'd never had Peking Duck before... it was very tender and succulent. The flour tortillas surprised me, though - I thought there was to be crepes. We got thinly sliced scallions and hoisin sauce. We also got appetizers - chicken lettuce wraps and crab rangoons. I love the wraps - I could definitely make a meal of those!

This is a quaint restaurant, with really great Chinese food. We've never been disappointed with the authenticity of their food. Owner is always pleasant and helpful. You get a lot of food for your money too. :-)
