Really good food a bit pricey though

First I would like to say I would have given this restaurant 5 stars but I think the prices and ambiance didn’t make it a 5 star restaurant. The food was outstanding and service was really good. I was with a group and we got bruschetta, spaghetti carbonara ($20), fetticune alfredo ($18), shrimp... read more

We wanted to try this restaurant so we called for reservations. It turns out that their telephone number is disconnected and Yelp, or another site, had a comment that the business is temporarily closed.

This place is a little hidden gem with the restaurants in High Point. The food is outstanding inside a subtle environment. All the food is fresh and handmade, but done very quickly. The servers treat all the customers like they are part of their family; known you their whole lives. This is family friendly environment.

My parents live in High Point, and when I come in town I look forward to dining at this restaurant. Love the yeasty breads and dip! The salad is very fresh with a tasty creamy balsamic. The cannoli is delicate and flavorful with a light marinara. If you love Italian food, I believe you will truly enjoy L'italiano.

I have enjoyed eating at the restaurant quite a lot. The service is good, the deco is basic and cheap, but the food is very good. Made to order, you can taste they use fresh ingredients. I had a dish of chicken with a salad as first course. Worth a try, if you like italian food you won't be disappointed.... More

Great Italian restaurant! White table cloths and good service. Back to back low booths don't give you any privacy and it seemed to be put together on the cheap without the benefit of a interior designer. But don't let that stop you from getting some really terrific Italian food. I would be happy to go back for more. Really, really... More

We often come here on a Saturday night with friends for a great dinner and fun time! Try the chicken parm...it is delicious! Or if you're in the mood for pizza, that's great too! If the restaurant is busy, service can be a little slow; but generally always friendly and good! It's a nice relaxed atmosphere, and the best Italian... More

I've been eating here for several years and have booked small groups as well. Food is above average as is the selection. Helpstaff varies but usually better than average and friendly. Can definitely say best Italian in the area. Can also get a good pizza although this is not a pizza parlor.

Lovely place and lively atmosphere. Waitress was MIA however was excellent when she did come to our table. The food was fantastic and quality exceeded expectations. The only downside was sitting in the first booth by the door. Everyone who came in had to pass by our table which at times was uncomfortable. Overall highly recommended on food and atmosphere!... We are regulars for years now. Consistently excellent-as good as the best we've had anywhere. Genuinely wonderful and authentic Sicilian cuisine and priced so going there often is possible. Menu is extensive.
