While staying locally on vacation, had dinner here. We did make a reservation, which probably wasn't necessary, but we were seated right by the aquarium which was very private. Water glasses were already filled and their homemade pepper relish already on the table. My huaband had the scallop dinner and he said the scallops were impeccable and some of the... More

I tried the Blue Water Grill tonight based on the 4 1/2 star trip advisor rating and I was extremely disappointed. I had the grouper Oscar, and the fish was tasteless. I seriously question that it was actually grouper. The biscuits and jelly were excellent, and that is the only reason that I rated it a 3.

Atmosphere was nice and I felt the menu was well balanced. The food was well prepared and service was good. Server was a little unsure with the wine service but the wine list was good and fairly priced. One negative is it is cramped for this type of higher end place.

Business meeting with an important customer, food was great and most important the customer loved it! Will be back. Only issue I personally have with this place is that table sitting is crowded so mobility is limited.

Although the location is a bit challenging to find the first time, the search is worth it! We were warmly greeted and quickly seated in an inviting and intimate dining room. The menu and wine list were on the table and we were quickly welcomed by our server. Located in front of an aquarium, we enjoyed watching the fish as... More

We went to this restaurant in May for Mother's Day and the food was awesome, including the calamari appetizer. My husband had the frogmore stew and I had the scallops. We returned in June for Father's Day (not exactly on that Sunday though) and ordered the same items we had in May. My husband's frogmore stew was about half the... More

I went with friends to Blue Water and had the best meal I have ever had in my life. I live in town and have been here before abd it is always great but this weekend was amazing. If you don't try this place at least once if you see living on town or just here for the weekend you... More

I've eaten at Blue Water numerous times and it never disappoints. Crab bisque is great year-round. I've had fish, I've had steak, I've had chicken and I'm not sure I can say which is my favorite because everything is good.

This has always been one of our favorite places. . . however, this time the menu had changed and we didn't find it to be as good as before. The bread they serve looks like half eaten biscuits, and the selections are not as good as they use to be. The food could have been served hotter, but overall it... More

Like scarlettsamber said, this restaurant is tucked away on a quiet street, and every time we visit our daughter at the local university, we make a point of eating here. We've eaten in the restaurant area as well as the bar and it's always just delicious with great service. It's a nice break from the typical southern battered and fried... More
