Generally very busy on the weekends. The ambiance is casual- the food was delicious...reasonably priced.
Who knew Jamestown was hiding a hip culinary destination? My wife and I visited on a Saturday night before a show over at the Turntable. What a find! Slightly intimidating when we first walked in ( thru the back entrance).... Loud, crowded, congested. But we quickly understood why. So many already knew this is the place to be! Indoor and... More
We go to the area on business twice a year and it is our favorite restaurant. We will eat there several times during our stay. The menu is a bit artsy a little vegetarian but with meat and fish dishes as well. It is the only restaurant where I will order a vegetable plate. They have unique and healthy ways... More
I ate lunch there on a Friday. It was pretty good. For a better quality restaurant, the prices are reasonable. I visit the High Point theatre from time to time, and this restaurant will now be my 'go to' restaurant before the show. The street address is correct, but you will have to use Jamestown in your Garmin for the... More
This restaurant (which is in Jamestown, NC actually) was highly recommended to me by co-workers who live in the area. They know I do a food blog (www.triadtaster.com - shameless plug) and that I have been on the lookout for the ever elusive good fried green tomato. Based on the recommendation of one of my co-workers (thanks Jay!) my wife... More
staff was friendly and the food was good. Very long wait and a crowded waiting area by the bar. Our waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The decor is rustic and tables are nicely spaced. There is a lovely outdoor eating area with tables and umbrellas. Bar service was quick. Wine selections were adequate.
While on a quick weekend trip to Greensboro, we ate here after seeing the reviews on TripAdvisor. It was only about 15 minutes from the Grandover Resort (the restaurant is actually in Jamestown). The atmosphere was nice (a little noisy, due to upbeat music and everyone enjoying their meal and conversation), and the service was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience... More
We went on a weekend and had to wait, but it was wel worth it! I got the seafood risotto - it was great! Hubs got the catfish and really enoyed it too. Daughter got the chicken fetuccine and son got the pizza and they both really like theirs too. We'll definitely be back!
This is a great place to have dinner! The food and service are excellent. We celebrated my sister in law's birthday there on August 9th and we had so much fun. I recommend that if you are going on a Friday night to get there early because it gets pretty busy since they have a live band. I had the... More
This is a great place to go with friends. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun. We started with the warm Gouda pimento cheese spread. I don't like pimento cheese, but it was really good. For my entree, I got grilled chicken fettucini with Roma tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and Parmesan cheese sauce. The artichoke hearts were a first for me. They... More
