We were on our way to go to the furniture district in High Point when we had a flat tire. Finding a new tire took longer than we would have liked but we decided it would be a good idea to have a nice lunch and relax. We asked a lady at the visitor's center and she told us about... More

I have not visited Hampton's in several years, but was invited to attend a dinner of approximately 12 guests on a Thursday evening. Given that when I did dine here several years ago, things were very nice, I went with high expectations, and sadly, they were not met this visit. Our dinner was a pre-set menu, with a set appetizer,... More

I went here for afternoon tea with high expectations based on the good experiences I have had here at dinner. I was very disappointed. The menu is very small and unimaginative. It seems more like wedding reception food than afternoon tea and even at that it is mediocre. I asked for clotted cream with my scone and the waitress had... More

I am usually not in town during the week. Thinking this is a real UPtown restaurant, since I was celebrating a special occasion, I wanted to dine here for lunch. I believe they miss a lot of business by not being open for lunch.

Had a chance to have Birthday Dinner with one of our daughters here last week. The setting inside is very nice. It feels like you are in any of the fine restaurants in the world. The entrance, foyer, bar area - very nice. We chose to sit outside - which was also very nice. Weather was perfect and we were... More

This was my first trip here. On the positive side, the food was wonderful and imaginative and I will definitely return. It is well worth the price. The cheese board was delicious and the salmon and tuna were both some of the best we have had recently. The venue is a beautiful early 20th century building that has been painstakingly... More

Visited Hampton's 3 times over the years and always left with the same feeling: nice place, quality food perhaps, but always - terribly tasteless. Whenever I visited, I never bumped into any locals, on a busy night perhaps one or two tables were occupied by hotel guests. Service is above average, but the food .... What a waste of food... More

We had my son's rehearsal dinner at Hampton's in October 2013. The setting is beautiful and the food was excellent! Leahann worked with me to ensure our menu options had something for everyone, including one with special dietary restrictions. She helped me with all the details and when we unfortunately had a cool spell that prevented us from using the... More

I used to work in High Point back in the day when the Adams restaurant was the highly acclaimed Southern Roots. After a 4 year absence, I returned, staying in the Adams, and decided to try Hamptons for dinner with business colleagues. The chopped salad was excellent, nice presentation and flavor. The calamari appetizer was also excellent, featuring outstanding roasted... More

A lovely setting for great food. Sure wish that breakfast offerings were as inspired, good basics are "good enough".
