In celebrating our 21st anniversary and staying at the JH Adams Inn, The Hampton's was a great choice. With a reservation made the week before, we walked down to dinner. Nicely appointed, an upscale, intimate experience awaited us. The seafood was fresh and delicious (Tuna, Catfish Bites) as well as the chicken. Yes, it was more expensive than franchise establishments,... More

Dinner at Hampton's is a must if you are in the High Point area. The atmosphere is quaint and private. Crab cakes are probably the best I've ever eaten. Scallops were yummy too. Don't leave without eating the tomato bisque!

I attended my luncheon with a special group. Food and service was great. Reasonably priced for lunch. I will attend other events soon.

Very disappointed in my experience at the Hampton Restaurant. Service was poor. Only myself and one other table. My soup was cold. The server was no where to be seen. Their specialty is the Chilean Seabass. I'm a seabass fan but this was nothing compared to what I've had in other parts of the country. Once I had my meal... More

Food was fresh, high quality and prepared perfectly. Portions were fairly small for price, but was okay for me since the quality was so great. Recommend checking for availability, as restaurant is closed for events (ie Weddings held at the Inn) and also on Sundays. The seating area is on the small side, so reservations are likely necessary. We enjoyed... More

Visited on Valentine's Day. Beautiful facility, but on what should be their Super Bowl, they were completely under-staffed and unprepared for the evening. We ordered from their Valentines Pre-Fixe menu expecting they would be ready for these orders. They were not. We saw our server about every 20 minutes and the time between courses was even longer. The food was... More

We will definitely go back to this restaurant! Four of us dined there and loved the food (not so much the service). The "Tomato Bisque with Lump Crab" soup was extremely good. I ordered the "Duck Wings" for my entree...and could have eaten that all night! My group also very much enjoyed the "Crab Stuffed Wild Caught Salmon" and the... More

There was a lovely, warm atmosphere and service. The tea was amazing, and service was always kind and available for refills or further food purchases. Scones were amazing! Not hard like traditional scones - these were soft and warm on the inside and lightly crisp on the outside! So yummy! Also, the strawberry preserves that came with them were smooth,... More

There was nothing we disliked. The food was fabulous and the service as well. We had crab stuffed Scottish salmon and roasted duck breast. The portions were just the proper size. It would be a great p,ace for that special dinner and is located in a former private mansion which is now the J H Adams Inn where we stayed... More
